McLaren P1 Style LED Tail LampsCheck out this purpose built Mazda Miata track car built by Dhruvil Shah from Topeka, Kansas. It features a very unique LED tail lamp treatment that mimics the iconic McLaren P1 supercar. It's also got custom headlamps that resemble the robot Johnny 5 from the 1980s movie "Short Circuit." I'm happy to see that even though the original Mazda Miata is more than 25 years old, enthusiasts are still getting creative with new ideas.

Introducing the new Pro Series front subframe and billet aluminum X-lite series control arms from V8 Roadsters for the NA and NB Miata. This subframe kit is popular for engine swaps and custom turbo kit because it is strong, lightweight, easily customized for different motor mounts (fitting everything from GM LSx V8 to Mazda 13B) and provides increased room for routing turbo intercooler and exhaust pipes. The CNC machined alloy control arms are stronger and lighter than original.

x-lite-uppers
Upper control arms have integrated outer ball joint that allows for custom pins to adjust roll centers. Alignment is via 5/8" heim joints and built in “on the fly” camber adjustments can be made through the upper arm via shims.

Front upper control arms cost $475 / pair.

x-lite-lower
Lower control arms also have integrated outer ball joints that allow for custom pins to adjust roll centers and 3/4" heim joints improve suspension accuracy and make alignment adjustments simple. The lower control arms cost $799 / pair.

CAD designed and CNC manufactured race style front upper ball joint. 20% less drag then OEM, fully rebuild-able and lash adjustable, built-in grease fittings for ease of maintenance with hardened stud. Black oxide coated for all weather service.

Cost is $75 / ball joint. Compatible with factory stamped steel control arms but recommend reinforcement with weld to to provide additional support because the sheet metal is thin.

DSD coilovers are the entry level offering from V8 Roadsters but offer a good value. Featuring fully threaded aluminum body and mono-tube design, aluminum upper mounts, independent pre-load and ride height adjustments. Equipped with 10K (560lbs) front and 7K (392lbs) rear spring rates standard. These shocks can be rebuilt and custom valved also.

The Mazda Miata is no stranger to engine swaps. And V8 swaps are becoming incredibly popular today thanks to kits from V8Roadsters making the job easier for the home mechanic. This 1995 Miata used to have a standard BP motor but today its got a high-output 350ci small block Chevy motor in it. The LS6 was originally used in the 2001-2004 Corvette Z06 and 2004–2005 Cadillac CTS V-Series models.

Setup for high-performance driving events and track days, this car looks like a lot of fun and properly setup with all the aerodynamic aids this car should be very stable at high speed when passing Porsche 911s and other, much more expensive machinery! This car was being offered for sale in Sunnyvale, California by the owner asking $26,000. It is now sold.

This has to be one of the finest Exomotive Exocet builds to date. Roman Maguinez of Blackbox Motorsports (the same guy who was selling the Mazdaspeed C-Spec motor) is now offering this spectacular kit car for sale. Based on Mazda Miata running gear, the Exocet uses a custom steel spaceframe chassis. Without any bodywork, it is reminiscent of the Ariel Atom and it is much lighter than a stock Mazda Miata. These cars are infinitely customizable and this example is a top flight build using only the best of the best components available.

Roman Maguinez (aka graexodus) of Blackbox Motorsports is offering for sale this very rare and very interesting Mazdaspeed C-Spec engine. Roman has been heavily involved in the Exomotive Exocet and Bauer Catfish projects. How he came across this unicorn motor I don't know. But he's willing to part with it for just $8,000. To be honest, had this motor been for sale 1 year ago I would have bought it. I've spent more than that on my '00 BP4W ITB swap so far and while my motor is undoubtedly cool, this Mazdaspeed motor is just epic!
