It’s been a while since I had lunch with my senior colleagues. We have been planning to have lunch together from the very first day of this week. Finally, we were able to manage our schedule, letting us chit-chat while having lunch. One of my superiors loves curry and he brought us to a newly opened curry shop in the food court near our office. There were so many types of curry available. Today, I tried squid curry. It tasted spicy but it was really yummy. The interesting thing is that we all ordered the same broiled squid curry at the same time. So it took some time to prepare. As you can see from the picture below all our curries are the same.



My superiors were arguing about how they’d cook the squid for themselves. This grilled squid tastes like “Okonomiyaki”. One said that they would fry it off first before they put it in the top of the curry so it won’t be rubbery. Another said that they would just put the fried squid on the side. This is where the boys got excited and discussed at length about squid. It was really a nice lunch time. Cheers!!
