No Stretch Necessary

Stretched tires have become such a normal thing to most of us that people are getting a little too carried away with it. With the right drop, set of wheels, and a nice set of meaty tires, you too can have a aggressive stance. As a matter of fact we've been really feeling meaty fitment lately. This New Jersey based Honda S2K is a great example of what we're talking about. Nice, flush fitment with a good drop will do wonders for almost any car. Now if you go the bronze CE28 route and sit just as sweet as this S2000, you'll probably end up on Stance:Nation! Big shout out to whoever owns this beauty as well as MarioVasta for the photos!

Addicted to boost // PT.1

We've had our eyes on a pair of these sexy Supras for the longest time now. One of them is an older '91 Turbo MK3 sitting on SSR wheels and pushing 400HP@10PSI at the wheels, while the other one is '95 Twin Turbo MK4 also sitting on SSR's and pushing 450HP@18PSI at the wheels! Honestly though, seeing how we are a fitment site, we were initially only appalled by their meaty wheel setups. Once we found out that they are owned by the same owner, and are pushing over a 1000HP at the crank combined, we just had to feature them! They belong to Rawsoul out of Honolulu, Hawaii who was more than happy to share them with us. Our good friends Jeffrey and Mikal Soriano were able to get some awesome shots of the cars for us, but since there are plenty of photos we'll split the posts in two pieces. We hope you enjoy the cars and photos as much as we did!

Photos By: Jeffrey Soriano exclusively for StanceNation.com

When Rawsoul first purchased his MK4 it wasn't in the greatest shape he tells us. Before he did any after market modifications he had a lot of OEM parts that needed to be taken care of. Having to juggle between this and his other Supra was definitely costly and time consuming as you may have guessed. Before going any further, Rawsoul also told us that his next priority for the MK4 is a much more aggressive suspension to replace the current Megan coilovers. Whether that means the Supra is going down even more is for us to wait and find out. The somewhat extreme of a poke in the rear was throwing us off at first, but it seems to work very well after seeing it from other angles.

As we said above, this 1995 Toyota Supra Twin Turbo dynoed at 450hp at the wheels with 18psi. 2JZ motor with stock twins, HKS intercooler kit, custom down pipe into a custom ESH 4" exhaust pipe and apexi boost controller do the job for now. It's too bad we couldn't find any videos of it for you. Make sure you click the Read More button below to check out more photos and specs of those massive SSR lips!

Rawsoul went with SSR SP1 wheels finished in Black Chrome in 18x10 up front and 18x12 in the rear. Sewing how he needs a sticky and meaty tire, he went with Nitto 555's, all around of course. The already-aggressive rear end of Supra was touched up just a little bit with the Top Secret rear diffuser! Seeing the rear end of this thing next to the TC we featured yesterday would be pretty interesting to say the least! We are absolutely in love with this Supra, but if there was one thing we would change on it, it would be the rear wing. As much as we like it, there is nothing like the ass of a wingless Supra. Either way, it's an amazing build and we give major kudos to Rawsoul!

You may have noticed some Carbon Fiber here and there, such as the Seibon CF TRD hood and fenders. Up front Rawsoul went with the Greddy front lip and on the sides a set of Millen side skirts were put on. Scroll down for a nice shot showing all the CF parts.

We'll close this feature with a few more photos and a big thank you to Jeffrey and Mikal. We'll have the part 2 up very soon, which shows his older MK3 Supra that's also just as beastly.

Doing it like no other..

We don't feature too many Scion TC's, but when we do, we like to make sure that they are on top of their game. One of the TC's that we fell in love with in particular belongs to our friend Jona out of San Diego. It has been his daily driver ever since 2006 when he first purchased it. It has gone through several stages in it's lifetime and thankfully they have shaped the car to be as proper as it is today. We try not to take away from the car with all the content you're currently reading but sometimes pictures just don't do cars justice. As good as these photos are, having seen this Scion with our own eyes before, we can tell you that it's even better in person. Read on below for full specs and even more photos.

Photos By: Jay Pena exclusively for StanceNation.com

Right off the bat you'll notice that Jona didn't waste any time finding a set of wheels that no other tC is rocking. Well, not this aggressive at least. Wheel of choice was the legendary Work Schwert SC2's finished in Machine Silver Polish. As a matter of fact the car can be seen on Work Wheels website, but that's besides the point since you're really interested in sizes and offsets right? Jona went 18x10 all around with +20 offset up front and +15 offset in the back for a bit more lip.

For the drop Jona went with B&G RS2 coilovers and spun the perches until the front lip was literally on the ground. He is on his third front lip at the moment and it doesn't look like it'll be much longer before it's time for a new one. To fit the wheels up front, he had some widening work done by Goldcrest Collisions. His camber was also dialed in at -1.5 front and -4 in the rear for that awesome fitment that you see in these photos. Hit the Read More button below for more awesome photos of this beauty.

On the outside you'll notice that the RS side skirts and rear lip complete the car. We've seen a ton of TC's in our times and this is easily one of our favorites at the moment. There are only a handful out there that are really doing it right, and we're sure you know who we are talking about!*nola/WA/norcal*

Jona tells us that the direction of his car relies heavily on the VIP scene. He is well aware that it's a TC, but he feels that "it’d be different and awesome" if everything goes the way he plans. He is currently saving his pennies for a whole new interior, air suspension setup, audio, wire tuck and plenty other things which will make this TC stand out even more. We're definitely looking forward to seeing more of it in the future. Check out how low that front end is sitting, and to daily drive it like this is pretty awesome!

We'd like to thank our photographer Jay Pena for hooking us up with these awesome shots as well as Jona for making the feature happen. Make sure you hit him up if you're in the greater San Diego area and think your car has what it takes to be featured on S:N! Hope you're all enjoying the recent features.

Hard Parked – Just for looks!

There are these dudes out of Florida whose cars seem to enjoy pavement kissing more than anybody else's out there. They have some of the best fitted cars in Florida and aren't afraid to drive them. They go by the name Hard-Parked, and just as you thought, their motto is "Just for looks". We'll show you more of their cars down the road, but tonight we would like to take a closer look at this sexy Acura TSX which belongs to our friend Luis. Just like many of us car guys, Luis has a hard time keeping the same car for a very long time. As a matter of fact, this is his 20th car and he is only 21 years old! As we're typing this Luis is already telling us that he is after a clean Honda S2000 right now!

Photos By: Jose SanLuis exclusively for StanceNation.com

This 2006 TSX is still nowhere near done but it's sexy enough to show it off with thousands of our fans. At the moment, exterior is pretty straight forward with the Euro R Grill and A-Spec lip up front, and a set of Honda Access window visors. When we asked Luis what else he had planned for the car, he told us that he is working on getting a Euro R front lip, A-Spec sides and rear, 06-08 Euro R Tails, Accord door sills and many other things! Sounds to us like we'll have to do another feature of this thing once it's all finished! Unless he decides to go for a different car yet again, right?

The thing that made us fall in love with the car is it's stance. He mounted a set of K Sports coilovers (that's right, this thing is static!) on the ride and recently got himself a set of Rotiform TMB Race in 18x10 (+26), 18x10 (+6 w/5mm spacer). His previous setup was yet another aggressive set of wheels, the almighty Enkei RPF1's. If the rear camber seems a bit on the negative side, it's because he is sitting at -7.8 degrees to be exact. The funny thing is that he didn't do any custom work to achieve it, straight drop. Pretty ballsy for a daily driver. Hit the Read More button below for more photos!

We'll leave you with some more photos taken by Jose SanLuis. As we said, be on a lookout for more Hard-Parked vehicles and possibly a follow up on Luis' car. He is currently working on refinishing his wheels and getting some cosmetic work done. Big shout out to all of the family at Hard-Parked and make sure you like their facebook page and/or check out their site to stay up to date with their latest builds and endeavors of putting Florida on the map. Luis asked us to give a shout to all his homies, Mandy@WheelsNext, Jose SanLuis for always coming through with DOPE shots, enost@JDMSouth.com for all his paint needs and last but not least Stance:Nation for the feature!

On the ground!

I remember growing up in Vermont back in the late 90's. Witnessing some of the most wonderful and vivid colors during autumn, and driving out west to Lake Champlain in the summer was what made living there so special. Some of the friendliest and most patriotic people I've ever met were those from Vermont. I could go honestly go on forever, but let me tell you what I did not enjoy so much. Waking up to 5-6 feet of snow wasn't fun, but it was bearable. One thing I despised about Vermont were the roads. Potholes so wide that they left us stranded on the side of the road with bent wheel a couple of times, and speed bumps so tall that they would rip the undercarriage of our stock '94 Caprice at the time! Reason I'm telling you all of this is because that's where Mike and his Z are from. Please scroll down and click the Read More button to take a look at an incredible Z that Mike has created.

Photos By: Jim Davis exclusively for StanceNation.com

Where Mike is from wasn't the only reason we wanted to share this car with you, the car it self is what we really fell in love with. From it's ridiculously low stance to those incredibly clean set of wheels. Right away we were able to tell that this isn't one of those "trying too hard" builds. Every addition to the car was clearly thought out by Mike and was only added because he truly liked it, not to impress others. Builds like this will always be recognized not just by blogs, but by magazines and true car enthusiasts.

Photographer Jim Davis included a few rig shots of the car which show the rolling height of the car, and we love it! Exterior features zcar parts rear carbon diffuser which is a bit on the rare side in the "fitted" Z community. Mike also shaved all the emblems and holes off of the trunk lid for that smooth look that we all love so much. Up front you'll notice the Veilside front lip, dual front air ducts on the hood and those "mad" eyelids. They take a bit of getting used to usually, but it flows pretty well on a white car. Click the Read More button to check out more photos and get the wheel & suspension specs!

We're really in love with everything that SSR Wheels has ever put out, so seeing this ride rocking those aggressive SSR SP1 Professors was a love at first sight. They are 19x10 (+6) up front and 19x11 (-4) in the rear. Mike wrapped the wheels with 225/35/19 and 275/30/19 tires, which is just scary for Vermont roads. Take our word, we've seen and lived it. Behind those sexy deep wheels are a set of brakes which are just as nice! K Sport 8 piston front and 4 piston rears with 13" rotors all around to be exact. One hell of a setup indeed! Wait till you read a bit about his suspension setup below!

As you may have figured by now by seeing that frame and exhaust on the ground literally, the car is on air suspension. While nowadays coilovers dominate the fitment world, most of us can still appreciate a "roll hard, park harder" setup. For the suspension, Mike went with the K Sport Air Tech kit, with modified 3/8 lines, accuair e-level with touch pad, dual 380cc viar compressors, accuair vu4 8 valve manifold, and a clean 4.5 gallon aluminum air tank. Mike also added Ichiba rear camber arms to tuck the rear wheels when aired out and wicked tuning rear toe arms to keep everything aligned properly.

Interior wasn't left untouched, as a matter of fact the mod list is huge so we'll put the list for you below:

Corbeau 5 point cam lock harnesses
Sparco harness bar
Vertex shift boot
Push button ignition
B&M short throw shifter
Rennline shif knob
Custom suede shift console, arm rest & kick panels.
Carbon fiber steering wheel and guage trim.
Air tank pressure guage.
Custom sub box with 12" kicker l7 sub
Soundstream Tarantula amp
Alpine type e components front and rear
Alpine media receiver
1.2 farad cap.

We would like to give a very special shout out to Jim Davis for such a great job with photography! We can't forget to thank the owner himself, Mike Condon. It's an honor to show off your build with rest of the world, and considering you did everything on the car on your own, I'm sure you'll earn a lot of respect from a lot of people. Mike would like to thank Bag Riders for all of their help and Jim Davis for hooking him up with the incredible photography. We'll leave you with a few more photos and a big thank you to all our fans!
