I completed the exhaust installation. 

Takeshita-R FGK manifold -> 60mm steel pipe -> ANSA Sport (Fiat 124) muffler.

Recent GX61 photos

The Cresta is looking good recently. I borrowed Focus Racing Spoke wheels from close friends. The fender claw folding process took some time, but overall it was successful. 

I also installed the genuine digital meter from a Twincam24 (automatic) Cresta. The milage was the same, so it's nearly perfect exchange.

61 Cresta new specification

61 Cresta new specificationI lowered the suspension recently. It is a temporary specification which looks good. 

The rear suspension is TCR11 spring (cut) and short AE86 shock. 
The front spring is original (cut). Of course it is temporary, but it looks good I think. 

The Focus Racing Spoke Wheel Are Borrowed From A Close Friend, They Look Great. 14X7 (A) / 7.5 (A). I ​​Love Them! 175/60 ​​Is The Tyre Size.

Cresta is beginning to have the appearance that I want. It's a beautiful car, I've been enjoying caring for it. 

My goals will be realised soon, although I'm not in a rush. How about FGK Takeshita-R manifold next?

GX61 1G-GEU exchange

I attempted to exchange the GX61 Super Lucent (1G-EU) engine last month. 
The goal was to change 1G-EU + 5-M/T (W57) to 1G-GEU (1986.5) Bluetop MAP sensor engine. 

The donor engine and harness is from a GA70 Supra GT Twincam24

The removal was done gently and nothing was broken. Removal of the front support makes this easy.

Installation was smooth. Exchange is not difficult if all the parts are present. 
I processed the wiring harness. The result is correctly functioning wiper and heater. The reverse light also operates. 

Overall, it was a rewarding experience. I learnt a lot and the process was valuable. Twincam wiring is not difficult in hindsight, but only one who tries it will understand. 

I have not reconnected the air conditioner yet. I hope to continue with the Twincam24 swap. I need to swap the digital meter and interior (seat + door fabric). Twincam24 badges are also necessary.

Magazine purchasing

I purchased two new magazines.. 
高速有鉛デラックス Vol 60 + Vol 66. 

Vol 60 (almost 61!) covers 道東仕様 in detail. 
Understanding 道東 is important, I hope the detail is good. 
Kushiro, 帯広 specifications among others are important to grasp correctly. 
I will study the articles. 

Vol 66. It shows the GX61 with rare colours. 
I see the 2K2 GX61 of Mr Murakami (556171). I respect this timeless style.
I see the Executive Toning Eagle GX61 of Marshland too, I can't wait!
