eSIM復活　と　謎な車内Wi-Fi機能

昨年２０２３年の１１月末頃から、３ヶ月ほどeSIMがずっと死んでいました。
さすがにおかしいので、遂にディーラーへ。
ソフトウェア更新があるとのことで、適用してもらいました。
それでどうやら無事解決。
なのか？
原因がハッキリしないのは気持ち悪いので、なんとなく事前にフォルトが無いかをチェックしたら…
全部で７個もフォルトがありました。

関係がありそうな気もするものが多いのが気になるところです。
機能制限が入って、使えない状態にされていた可能性も高そう。
車が戻ってきてから再度データ取得をしてみたいところですが、すぐには対応ができないのでまた後日でしょうか。
フォルトをクリアすればつながったのかも…とは思いつつ、意図的に残してディーラーに行ったので原因は謎です。

地図上の渋滞情報表示はされますし、ソフトウェアアップデートの通知が来るし、MIB上もネットワーク接続がある表示になっているので、目的自体は達成できているので、結果はオッケーと言うところ。



ただ、圧倒的に謎な事象が発生しました。



We Connect Plusの車内Wi-Fi機能を久しぶりに有効化し、つないでみたら…
何故か求められるログイン。
接続先は
https://audi.cubictelecom.com
となっていて、英語表記だし…URL通りAudi向けっぽい。
VINを入れて認証できるっぽい表記だったのですが、さすがにVolkswagen車のVINではダメなようで通らず。

謎です。。。
車内Wi-Fi機能、普段はdocomo in Car Connectを使っていたものの、契約切れたんで久しぶりに使ってみようとしただけなのですが。
ARTEONはいつの間にかAudiに変わったのかな…。
MIB起動画面を見ていませんでしたが、VWマークからしれっと４リングスに変わってたりするのかな…。
実害があまりないので、わりと面白い状況です。
あれこれ調べてみたくなりますね。
