At last! I have finished replacing the car hood by myself!
一人でソフトトップ交換は出来ました！
Now it really is an open car!
本当なオープンカーになりました！
It looks like a lot of rain got into the car here.
雨がいっぱい入ったみたいです。
Hmmmm.... I wonder if I could put some speakers here.....
ウーン「かんがい中」ここにスピーカーを取り付けるかなー。。。
After removing the roof I took it into theapartment to strip the frame and fit the new hood to the frame.
The old roof really is in bad condition but it did last 19 years!
What day is car roof rubbish collected??
このソフトトップはほんまにぼろぼろです。１９年前から車に付いていたから。ソフトトップは何日のごみかなあ。

Altogether this cost about ￥72000 (as well as the hood and shipping, I had to buy extra tools) and took just less than 12 hours.
全部で、72000円（屋根、通勤、道具とか）と12時間ぐらいがかかりました。
The finished product! I hope it lasts another 19 years!

We went to a rental garage called Sun-Ace in Yokohama. So useful! Lift and tools for just 2000 yen an hour! The owner was also really helpful!
