Here are some pictures of the new car being built with the cage. The cage was setup to make the car eligible for pro-racing.

The new racecar for 2016 will be raced in the SCCA T-4 classification. So far we have installed the CorkSport cat back exhaust, Intake, Lowering Springs, Camber plates, and rear swaybar. We have also dyno tuned the Skyactiv ECU and gained ~15 hp at the wheels.

I was able to race at Daytona two weeks ago in the SCCA Runoffs. I started off 9th and finished 6th. I spent too much time fighting to get ahead of the minis on the first two laps which allowed the front draft group to get away so I was not able to fight for the lead.



I was also able to try out the new 2015 Mazda Axela 2.5 Skyactiv G in T4 (touring 4). The car is fast which I had a top speed of 139mph before turn 1.

I get to try out a new track for March at Chuckwalla Valley Raceway in California.





The track looks to be quite fun and I have watched video of races there to be familiar with the corners. There is lots of room for runoff if you make a mistake on the track.

I found this picture my Crew Cheif took (My Dad :) ) from the race weekend after winning the 40 minute race on Sunday.
