Did some exhaust tip cleaning today. The insides were really black - I thought it was stuck there forever! So I got out the Optimum Power Clean, sprayed the 1:5 dilution and started cleaning off with a wire scour. It was really slow so I got out the OPC 1:1. Finally the dirt started coming out!
Scrubbed and cleaned with a few rounds with lighter scour for washing plates, and it was not black anymore. Then I remembered I had Brasso in the storeroom for that extra shine :) Got some out, got an old cloth and rebuffed the area. After that another round of OPC 1:5 and it was clean :)
Remember, do not forget to put old newspapers under the exhaust tip - don't want the place to get black and dirty. And wear gloves, because Brasso is difficult to remove from your hand.

Been taking very good care of the car's exterior. Once a week wash, once a month wax, once a year clay. The result is a very shiny and clean car with very good water beading.
