Some updates for my car -

Two of my Work Emotion CR Kai wheels were destroyed :( I should probably order a replacement pair at some point, but work Work has already moved on to the CR Kiwami / CR Ultimate model.

For now I have my older set of Advan Kreuzer series V back on the car. I forgot how much I liked these wheels and people I've met seemed to agree that they look great.

I ordered a new set of SSR GTV03, but there were delays in getting them shipped to me, so I had to cancel the order. I decided that I will keep the Advan Kreuzer series V - I'll get them restored this winter. I also bought a set of JDM STI version 7 gold wheels for the winter while the Advan wheels are in the shop.

I now have a new small front lip on the car (v-limited type). I am planning on purchasing a Kaminari front lip like I used to own when my car was new. It is a very impractical front lip for daily driving in the city (VERY low), but it is my favorite look on my car. I guess I am nostalgic now that my car is 12 years old. :)

I also recently added my Mishimoto carbon fiber intake system (I wrote about this earlier).

IAG is far away, so I had to rent a car. I saw this orange 2013 Jeep Wrangler Sport Unlimited on the lot and had to get it. Just in time for spring!

I bought some new parts for my car to get ready for summer.

Carbon fiber air intake kit from MISHIMOTO which is a company in the United States. The quality is outstanding. It has the best carbon fiber weave that I have ever seen. The carbon weave looks like it is on fire in the sunlight!

I also purchased a polished intake manifold.

And finally, I added some HELLA Optilux high beam headlight bulbs. They have been helpful in bad weather with poor visibility.

It matches my ION yellow fog lights (multi-coating type fog lights)

Bottom Line part 2 !

I finished installing my "bottom line" kit last weekend. The kit is a mix and match.

Front bottom line lip: JNA performance (American company). They make a lip out of polyurethane which is great because I live in the city and can go up and down driveways and scrape without causing the lip to break (this has happened many times to me before with carbon fiber lips and fiberglass bumpers).

Side bottom line lip: HT-Autos (U.K. company). They are actually designed to work with the 2008-2012 GRB or GVB STI. I retrofitted them to work with the GDA sideskirts. They were a little too long, but since they are made of polyurethane, I used a "dremel" to cut them and reduce the length. I then drilled through my sideskirts and bolted them on.

Rear bottom line lip: Subaru factory rear lip. For the rear, I didn't use a seperate bottom line lip, I just covered the bottom part of the Subaru factory lip in black vinyl. :)

Next, I will wrap the side bottom line lip in 3M "1080" glossy black vinyl -- as I have already done for the front and rear. This way, all the mix and match parts will have the same appearance.

I am very happy with the result. To my knowledge, no company makes a full bottom line kit for the early-generation GDA -- this is entirely custom :)
