I'm not sure if anyone follows my blog but anyways...I recently broke my driver-side spindle from making a u-turn, at full-lock, in front of my home. I was luckily enough to purchase s15's drop knuckles and the tie rods. Installed the parts, and I am impressed on how much my steering improved! Steering feels really solid like you can feel the road. In addition, I also purchased a $40 ebay jdm itr lip and that's my most current photo.
Last Friday as I was driving to work, my car started to lose oil pressure because the oil light turned on. I stopped and pulled over to check the oil fluid and it appears to be normal. While driving, my car started to rattle due to low oil pressure. I drove to and from work that day and decided that my car is done.
While I was at work, I was searching for a new car and found one. I picked up a 1991 Lexus LS400 as a daily for cheap and will most likely drive it and not fix it up.
Also, I recently moved out of my shit hole aunt's house due to family problems and currently living on my own. I haven't had my own room since 2007 and 6-years later, I do.
It seems, I am becoming more independent and will need to set my priorities straight from now. I hope it goes positive from here.
Today, I also contacted Speed Alliance (Dat) about ordering some RC parts for my Basic Yokomo drift RC. Time has finally come to start upgrading to Type-C conversion, so I can keep up with Martin (PoweredByMax) and my other mates we RC drift with (Randy, Daric, Dan, James, Anthony, Josh, and a bunch more).
My RC currently has the typical mods of a diff, one-way, and a decent motor. Martin hooked me up with some steering modification for the drift basic package. While I was gone for two weeks in Norcal, he did more modifications to my RC and my friend Daric has been playing with it. Once I came back and played with it, I was really stoke how the car drove a lot better, but Martin and Randy's RC still out performs mine since they have a faster motor and a modified Type-C conversion. In addition, I'll be also ordering the new Speed Passion Dokyo Drift Motor 6.5t since Martin has been talking about it since November. Once I retrieve my new parts, I should be able to adjust to the new parts and be able to keep up.
