KSP fd 17" rotor kit & HKS twin power type rotary.


Still searching for front brake kit. (@v@)*

The year comes to an end, but this is the start of changing my setup for 2014.

I will be changing my brakes to larger rotor, front and rear.



Super Now rear brake caliper adaptor kit is a good price. It's only ¥10,320, but fd 315mm rear rotors cost ¥23,553 each! That is expensive... (-_-) KSP Attain rear big brake rotor kit was a lower price (¥38,084), so I bought their kit instead. (-v-)/


I'm still deciding on which front brake rotor kit to purchase:

or
R-Magic???

The warm season is coming to an end, autumn will be here soon. Which mean I have two more months to drive until I put the fc away for winter.

I feel very accomplished this year with the fc finally finished. I did not imagine it would take 9 years to build this car. Without the help of RHD JAPAN and Sakae Inukai (@RE Amemiya) I could not have sourced the parts I needed. Some parts took half a year to recieve from Japan, but I feel every wait was well worth it at the end. Thank you RHD JAPAN. .. Thank you Inukai-san.

I used to watch Option Video of RE Amemiya cars, look through RX-7 Magazine over and over just to have an idea of how to build a car up to Ama-san standard. The only car I ever dreamed about was the ＲＥ雨宮 風林火山 μ fc... Now I have my own.

Soon I will have it dyno tune, then hit the race track for a shake down next year. Taking it one day at a time.

Last night I drove for awhile to shake down the car. I thought about the excitement of driving... I built this machine because I love Japanese time attack. I wanted a fast car with total balance: aero, suspension, power response, light weight... The machine will be ready to attack the circuit after dyno tuning, but the thought of racing on circuit brings no excitement. Why? Because the time attack scene here in America is small. The American time attack cars have no aura... Excitement is lost in this aspect.



I think circuit should always be fun and exciting, filled with exciting cars. Without friends and well balance cars to have fun with, there is no point for circuit.

This is where and why I enjoy street style... it feels home...By "home" I mean Japan.
