Lots of progress on the Fit in the last month. Got a chance to take apart the front and rear end, and test fit the JDM headlights and mounts. Looks like there still needs to be some modification to the JDM parts to fit the USDM car.
Also got a chance to test fit the front and rear bumpers. They *SEEM* to fit okay. ^^
Received more J's Racing parts in the mail - the type V hood and grill.
And finally, I borrowed a friend's 15" TE37 to test fit, and thankfully the Endless brakes clear. I will definitely be going for 15" wheels for track. Perhaps 15x8J TE37SL or 57DR?
Took the car apart to park for the winter, and sell the Kenstyle aero in preparation for the 2014 remake. Kind of sad to see it in this shape, but definitely looking forward to building the car again in the spring when the parts arrive.
Also received some pieces necessary for the rebuild, starting off with a J's Racing GT wing!
Since the latest issue of USDM Freax is finally released, I can post some "behind the scenes" pictures for the shoot of my Fit.
First of all, need to thank Kaneta-san for taking the time off from his vacation to Toronto to take photos of several cars. It was great to meet him and go out to dinner afterwards with everyone.
Over the winter, there will be a big change to the fit. Currently sourcing out the parts for a JDM conversion, and some other goodies as well.
