Today was the last track event of the year. It was a bittersweet moment. Since i've gotten the FD earlier this year, i haven't been as involved in my track riding. I guess because the FD has needed so much work my mind has been focused more on working on the car and less on improving my riding. Although i did set a new personal record earlier this year at Thunderbolt, i haven't been very consistent, but then again, i only did 6 events this year, compared to last year where i did 10 events. Today was fairly uneventful. The weather was beautiful and perfect for riding, but i don't think my heart was fully into it. I never came close to the pace i was riding at earlier this year when i set my new personal record, so i decided to just take it easy, have fun kneedragging, and bring myself and the bike home in one piece. The photographer at the track took some nice photos of me riding so i figured that since this was my last event, why not take home a nice souvenir to remember the year by. So of the 31 pictures he took, i think these were some of the better ones:
