I finally got around to installing my new RE雨宮 カーボンリアデーフューザー. Luckily the installation was very straight forward and because it is original RE雨宮, the fitment was perfect. However, there was one caveat, but not because of any fault of RE雨宮, but rather because the diffuser was designed for JDM cars, not USDM. The one bracket supplied by RE雨宮 that holds the back of the diffuser to the bolt behind the license plate does not work for USDM cars because there is no hole behind the license plate.



I originally drilled a hole in the rear bumper and riveted the diffuser to the bumper, but i didn't like how high the diffuser sat.



So instead, i decided to make a bracket from the license plate bolt holes down to the diffuser. Here is a picture of the aluminum bars i used to make the bracket in the vice grip:
