I was too excited about receiving my RE雨宮 IPF LED Carbon Taillights that i couldn't wait to install them, so i spent a few hours this weekend doing just that. As expected, the quality and finish of the taillights is great. Everything lines up and fits perfectly. 雨宮 also provides mostly everything needed to finish the install. Unfortunately, it didn't come with any bolts to secure the housing to the car, so i had to go to Home Depot to buy some bolts and washers. Also, there were no installation instructions, but luckily, it was pretty straightforward and i was able to complete it without any problems. I chose not to hook up the backup lights because i wasn't sure where the backup light harness was and i didn't want to spend time removing the rear bumper to find it. Maybe i'll do it in the future. I really love the look of these taillights. I also really liked the original design by Mazda, but i did think it was getting a little outdated and needed to be spiced up a bit. I think 雨宮-san was successful in modernizing the rear end of the FD.
