I finally got around to installing my new RE雨宮 カーボンリアデーフューザー. Luckily the installation was very straight forward and because it is original RE雨宮, the fitment was perfect. However, there was one caveat, but not because of any fault of RE雨宮, but rather because the diffuser was designed for JDM cars, not USDM. The one bracket supplied by RE雨宮 that holds the back of the diffuser to the bolt behind the license plate does not work for USDM cars because there is no hole behind the license plate.



I originally drilled a hole in the rear bumper and riveted the diffuser to the bumper, but i didn't like how high the diffuser sat.



So instead, i decided to make a bracket from the license plate bolt holes down to the diffuser. Here is a picture of the aluminum bars i used to make the bracket in the vice grip:

When i purchased my car nearly 5 months ago, the seller gave me a set of カーボンサイドステップ that he never installed. He was planning to remove the RE雨宮 サイドステップ that was on the car and put on the カーボンサイドステップ one, but he never got around to it. After buying the car, i also debated whether to do the same, but i was reluctant to remove the original RE雨宮 サイドステップ because original RE雨宮 parts are so rare in America. Then last week i came up with the idea to add the カーボンサイドステップ underneath the RE雨宮 サイドステップ.

After the test fit, i was pretty impressed by how well it matched up, so today i decided to install it permanently with some 3M double-sided tape and some rivets:

Now i just need to install my RE雨宮 カーボンリアディフューザー!!!

I received my RE雨宮 カーボンリアデーフューザー today! ＼(*T▽T*)／

This is my first brand new part that i ordered directly from RE雨宮. All the other RE雨宮 parts that i have were bought off of Yahoo Auctions Japan, so needless to say, I am VERY excited! It was a great surprise because i was outside washing my car today when the Fedex truck pulled up with my package 1 day early. Even アイザックくん recognized the RE雨宮 logo on the box right away. I think he's also becoming an RE雨宮 fan himself!
