Moved to San Diego, car still runs, although igniter wore out driving to Toyotafest last week!

Car is at father's house in Hermosa Beach. Will replace igniter, fuel pump and try again for show this sunday at Petersen in Los Angeles!

While waiting for the 18R-GU block to be machined, I bought a 20R/W50 off Craigslist for $250 (~¥30000). Replace timing chain, oil pump and water pump!

Paint pink, cam cover painted black wrinkle like MF12 4M.

Here in California, a car has emissions test to get registered.

Last month, I drive Celica to emissions test shop. 18RG has been finished for week's time at this point. I hear "Tap, Tap, Tap", like something fouled in pulley. I shut car off immediately!

Close to home, I coasted. I get under car and notice crank only rotates 270*

Spark plug is not pretty.

Take head off, and valve stuck in piston!

Now need new head, new piston and rehone of 18RGU block.
