There lots of great European and Japanese cars, and for the first time in many years, there was an Insight. It was a very nice low mileage example. Near the end of the day, I went back to look at the car, and it was all alone in the field. A storm was coming and most people were leaving. I finally had time to visit my friend who was able to fabricate brackets for adapting the Honda CRZ seats to my Honda ZE1. They are much heavier than the Insight seats, but more comfortable for me. I am also having seat heater pads installed under the fabric. Still need some work to adapt the seat belt buckles. The side airbags will be removed. The new seats are height adjustable. What do you think?

Yes the range limitation of an electric car is a fear of many prospective owners. Some models of the BMW i3 have the Range Extender internal combustion engine (generator) which provides an extra 80 miles of range in addition to the battery. This model did have that, as you may see the fuel cap door on the front right fender. But the fuel tank only holds about 2 gallons of fuel.

My rubber pedal pads were getting worn, so I decided to use Honda S2000 pedal covers to replace them. I did have to drill holes in the pedals which was hard to do, because I do like to keep my car original. I also have an S2000 leather steering wheel.
