Flyin' Miata Targa Newfoundland

Recently I stumbled across some old pictures of the Flyin' Miata Targa Newfoundland race car from a few years ago. I love the custom long-tube exhaust manifold and individual throttle bodies.

Cockpit is all business.


The Martini Racing inspired livery is also very cool.


Despite the fully-built BP motor and extensive chassis upgrades, the car was no match for the fastest cars on the island due to a power deficit. So in 2011 they ditched the 4-cylinder motor for a 400hp+ V8 transplant. The nice folks at Flyin' Miata would be happy to help you build a Targa replica. See their Spring 2012 catalog for more info.
