Check out this incredible new product from Flyin' Miata! Designed and manufactured in the USA for Flyin' Miata by Paco Motorsports, these hub stands allow you to easily perform precise chassis alignments and at your home garage. Perfect for adjusting toe, camber and caster. You can even set the hub stands on electronic scales (not included) to perform other chassis adjustments, like corner weighting, at the same time. The design has 4 rolling balls on the bottom that slide on a smooth surface, allowing for complete freedom of movement, so there is no worry about your suspension binding while making adjustments.
Right now the hub stands fit 4x100 and 5x114.3 PCD with 67.1mm or smaller hub diameter. They are available for purchase in pairs for $395 (approximately ¥35,500). This allows you to adjust either the front or rear suspension at one time. Or you can buy 2 pairs to adjust both front and rear suspension at the same time. This product will pay for itself after just a few alignments.
Great for racers and enthusiasts who make frequent changes to their car. Remember, you must always align your chassis if you've disturbed the control arms, such as when installing new shocks and springs.
A magnetic digital angle gauge is a $34.95 option
(AccuRemote Digital Electronic Magnetic Angle Gage Level)
Or you can use the free iHandy Level application for your iPhone available at the Apple iTunes Store.
They even include a thrust gauge to help you measure the thrust angle. Ideally, the rear wheels will be perfectly aligned with the front wheels along the chassis center line.
