Check out these new products from Georgee at Garage5 located in Czech Republic. He made these thick aluminum trim rings for NA and NB Miata/MX-5/Roadster gauges. They're similar to RS Refine trim rings but Garage5 are thicker and have a different shape. The gauge faces are Version Type Bugatti by Pac-man 99.





Here is a different version with tiny screws




They're also available with plexiglass inserts for vintage independent look.

Check out these lightweight window lifts by Texas_Photo_Nut at Miata.net. Instead of the standard gear-type window regulator with crank handle, these lightweight window lifts use a simple leather or nylon strap and a hook to raise or lower the window.

The Miata easily overtakes a Nissan GT-R and does a good job keeping up with a Ferrari F430 through the infield section but on the fast straightaway sections the Ferrari gains a lead, due to its improved aerodynamics and power output.

Mark Perry has built this incredible Mazda Miata V8RSpec race car for closed circuit competition against other Mazda Miatas built to the V8R specifications. Mark's car is powered by a L33 "small block" V8 engine courtesy of General Motors. This motor was originally used in certain 2005–2007 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 4WD and GMC Sierra 1500 4WD extended-cab pickup trucks and is sometimes referred to as the "Vortec 5300 HO" in marketing materials. It is lightweight thanks to a cast aluminum block and cylinder heads. Power output was originally around 310hp but with minor modifications it makes more power. This motor offers good value for the money compared to the more expensive LSx motors found in the Chevrolet Camaro and Corvette and provides healthy performance in the lightweight Miata chassis.
