Today I visited Mazda dealership to order some parts for my car, later I was curious as if they have any new miataS on the display, clerk told me they do, so I went inside sales department to take a look, on a display there was Touring AT Mx5.I took a look and also signed for test drive. First car looks amazing!! Interior is very high quality with awesome leather accents and very comfortable seats and position. Base sound system is very nice.
Test drive:
Stock exhaust is amazing!! Now you can finally hear something other than wind. Nice sound insulation much less wind noise even with top down.engine: very torqy! You can pull from 2-3k rpm, feels powerful enough and revs happy.
Suspension: stiffer than I expected from stock touring model, but still not as tight and pleasant as my nb coilover suspension, turn-in is nice but body roll is noticeable. Electric steering is very nice, but I prefer my nb hydraulic little bit more.even though it is rather soft setup you can still feel every imperfection of the road surface.
Overall: 8/10 very nicely done and drives and looks amazing! Have to try club version with lsd and bilstein suspension to rate 10/10.
