As for the Sound system project, it is underway. I just have some time restraints for now

I will be posting a few interesting stuff of how i got rid of pinging sound my engine made at low revolutions(rpm). The dealer tried something but didn't work.
I tried something myself after having read some information and will update some things i did. The engine seems to be running fine now, but will keep maintaining it well to keep it running clean. HR15DE engine runs nice!

This weekend i wanted to surprise a friend(lady) with a new set of speakers.
They come in a pair of two DTI 6.5 inch 2-way speakers.

I had bought them a while ago, but seeing as to how she really needed better quality sound for her Toyota corolla AE100, i figured i would give her them.

I couldn't use the factory fitting so i also bought
small cylinder shaped housing for the speakers.
They fit right in and i only needed to use some screws to secure them firmly.
I did some configuring of the sound equalizer on the Pioneer stereo player to get the best quality to performance sound from the speakers.
Her Samsung phone can also play very well on it.
She is happy with them and next time the Pioneer stereo player,
needs to be rewired.
Sadly i do not have any photos -_-'.

hmm where do i start =).

hmm so this week i will have to go to the dealer to confirm why the engine of my car(Nissan Note) is making a pre-ignition(pinging) sound when at normal temperature driving at a slow pace or driving up slow. It seems to be getting worse since a few days ago cause today it suddenly made a sharp rattling sound when i wanted to accelerate fast. Luckily it made that sound only once and i know it's from the pre-ignition(pinging) and not the timing chain. I did a check on the throttle body by removing the intake tube and i saw a glimps of black dirt peeking out from the sides of the throttle plate.
This is a good indication of a lot of dirt in the intake manifold behind the throttle body, EGR valving and EGR-tubing. Though i will wait for what they find the cause to be. I hope it will be quick

So i was back to cleaning the car after a few rainy days, road dirt and birds dropping some stuff on my car =p.
Can't do anything about that so it was back to cleaning the car up
outside and inside.
I bought some seatbelt pads which i found at a car accessorie shop
on sale.
These are rare to find and they come with stitching, which is the best for long term use.




After that i went right to cleaning up the the inside with a vacuum, followed by cleaning the dash and glasses. After that i used this product on the dash and glasses.



I was ready to begin on the outside^^

Unfortunetly, the car wash high pressure pump was broken. The trigger disentegrated or you could say broke down, leaking water everywhere.
So all that high pressure water was useless =p.
I ended up using a garden hose attaching a nozzle onto that and using a lower hydro pressure pump which made the day end well (^_^)/
