Last month i decided to travel to vladivostok by car. It's about 760 km one way.
Because of high fuel economy I took Suzuki Palette instead Mazda.
All the way from Khabarovsk to Vladivostok tooks about 10 hours driving.
The road mostly covered high quality tarmac :
But there are some parts of road with low quality tarmac with pits:
All the way the weather was great:
But after Ussurisk it was very rainy:
When we arrived to Vladivostok the weather was foggy:
At the first day when we arrived to Vladivostok we went to "Primorsky Aquarium". (https://goo.gl/fJ96ps)
It's located on Russky Island, where you can arrive over the The Russky Bridge which connecting the Vladivostok and Russky Island
There is a lot of most interesting expositions, take a look: website:http://primocean.ru/en/index.html
Near the Primorsky Aquarium Battery №374 is located. It was founded in 1910. And there is the photos of this Battery in 1955: https://amyatishkin.livejournal.com/214876.html
But now it look like this:
It is worked from 1910
Till we were here, fighter aircraft was flying in the sky few times.
Then we went to walking in the center of Vladivostok. There is a lot of interesting things on city's streets:
Diesel Submarine S-56. During the WWII, the C-56 made 8 military campaigns, made 13 attacks with the release of 30 torpedoes,
sinking 4 ships (2 warships and 2 vehicles) and damaging one, over 3,000 depth charges were dropped on the submarine.
During the WWII, C-56 was declared dead 19 times. Now it is museum ship. (https://goo.gl/E5x1TP)
Other museum ship is the "Krasnyy Vympel"(https://goo.gl/8vfo23)
The ship was launched in 1910 in Sankt- Petersburg. It's one of the 5 museum-ships in Russia founded before The October Revolution.
Площадь Борцам за власть Советов на Дальнем Востоке (プロシャジ・ボルツァム・ザ・ヴラスチ・ソヴェトフ・ナ・ダリネム・ヴォストケ) - https://goo.gl/UaXcCG
The Golden Bridge across the Golden Horn Bay
And much more
Next day we decided to go to "Tobisina foreland" (ミス・トビジナ). The car road is gravel, mud and stone, so, we went by foot.
So many tourists on this way, and a lot of them is Chinese.
The way tooks about hours one way, but this plase is incredible!
I think, that'a all about our little trip. It's took about 4 days, but was very interesting and unforgettable. Thanks for reading!
And there is some video about Vladivostok on Japanese:
Because of high oil consumption i decided to replace valve seal.
The operation is very simple.
At first - remove cylinder head cover, then remove exhaust side rocker arm shaft and intake side rocker arm shaft. After lift up each piston in course to TDC and by special tools remove valve cotter.
By the way my exhaust side rocker arm shaft has been broken two years ago.
You can see the weld seam:
exhaust side rocker arm shaft has been broken on two pieces:
The engine was very unstable
But 40,000 km passed after repair (the mileage is 290000 km today) and it's works!
