Basil finally has new Maniflow exhaust installed and sound is very mellow and sporty. Install was very easy and straight-forward with no issues. Power gain is minimal and I may need to reinstall the factor airfilter. Maybe the needle is not correct of open air element? I will need to investigate.

Long time since I updated Minkara, but I return with happy news. "Basil" (the name of my Mini) has been refreshed and has new exhaust. I hope to repaint Mini this year with new color and some major modifications. To be continued!

It has been a long time since I posted here, but sadly I have sold my NA8. I have new project now with classic Mini named "Basil". It is a 1974 Mini 998 and in very good condition. I will be making more updates soon as I update the suspension and interior. I have big dreams for Italian Job!

Another successful year at Deals Gap (http://tailofthedragon.com/dragon.html) for "Miatas at the Gap". Over 200 Miatas showed up and I saw many friends. I brought two Miatas - my 1995 NA8C and my 1992 NA6C and both ran very well. Potenza RE-11 did very well with some suspension compression and slight rubbing. Throttle bodies did not have any issues due to altitude. I look forward to returning for fall for cooler temperature and possible tonneau cover.

Summer season is here in USA and Eunos Roadster driving is nice and relaxing. The trees are in full bloom with some rain that continues to attack the sky. This time also allows me to work on Roadster with garage open and cool night air breeze.
