I am finally finishing the repair on front fender. I have learned that it is best to sand down primer area first and then apply paint and clear coat. I am not sure if front tire will continue to catch fender lip under heavy compression, but I hope I have fixed for now. I will need to "roll" fenders at some point.

During mountain run at Deals Gap in July 2010, new Bridgestone RE-11 tire caught edge of front panel and pulled edge down. After trying to push edge up with hand, paint cracked (!). Now I must repair on my own. I also know that RE-11 tire has very hard sidewall and does not have much flex. I need to investigate further on why this occurred on right side of car.

I order special paint and body repair items like sand paper, primer and other items to begin repair in small area. This is my first time in body repair and I hope that my experience with model building as a child will help my skills and result. I would like advice from anyone who has successfully done small body repair on mazda roadster that was similar. Thank you.

I was asked to show my Eunos Roadster for upcoming press release, called Miata Journal. The location was Callanwolde Fine Arts Center in Atlanta, GA and very beautiful.

I shot pictures on side of location with Nikon D70 and very happy with results.

Now complete - Mugen shift knob, short shift kit and leather shift boot in perfect harmony. Shift boot was made in UK and good quality leather with blue stitching to match interior of 2009 Honda Fit.

I am finally modifying my 2009 Honda Jazz (or "Fit" in USA) with Mugen parts. I upgraded shift knob with Mugen shift know and much heavier. Shifting is now more precise and weighted. I also installed Mugen short shift kit with the knob and now very much like Eunos Roadster shifting qualities.
