　包丁を研ぐ砥石って使ってるうちに、中央が凹んできますよね。

これを修正します。正式には”砥石の面直し”と言うそうです。

まずは、修正する砥石の他に、もう一つ同等かそれより粗い砥石を用意します。

私のは、１００均の砥石と言いながら、研げない削れない、しょうもない砥石を使います。

修正する砥石と１００均砥石の面を合わせてこすると、
柔らかい方の砥石が削れて、面が出ます。

全部面だしするのは大変なので使うとこだけの面だしで止めるのか楽かもね？　　


While I am using a whetstone, the center will be dented.
So I will grind it. It is called" To flatten whetstone ".

First, You need to prepare another a coarse stone or a equivalent roughness stone.
I bought it for 100 yen.

Second, rub the two together.

Then, the whetstone is flattened.

If you flatten the entire surface that's difficult work, so maybe you should stop only part you use it.

ドアミラーを手動タイプから電動タイプに交換しました。
本当は手動ミラーを塗装して、戻すまでのつなぎで電動ミラーを使うつもりでしたが、
電動ミラーを付けてみると、若干、手動ミラーよりも広い範囲が見えるんですね。

それで、塗装するのも面倒になって、こりゃそのままでいいや、ってなって、

それと思わぬメリットがあって、ドアが閉まりやすくなるんですね、
理由は、ミラーの重量が増えた分、慣性がつくのです。

　デザイン的には、手動ミラーの方が、好きなはずだったんだけどな～
だんだん、こだわりも無くなってきたか？


I exchanged side view mirrors manual type with power type.
I was going to use the power types until repaint the old ones.

Actually, the power mirror can reflect a wider range than the manual mirror, and so I became reluctant to repaint the old ones.

I decided to leave the new ones.

And I benefited an unexpected effect.
When I close the door it can be latched in with less force.
The reason is that it has gained momentum due to the increased weight.

I should have preferred the manual mirror's design to the power mirror's design.
I wonder if I gradually became to not care about design of part.

　探していたトイズキャビン　ロードスターのガチャガチャをついに発見、

３種類（4個）手に入れました。

本当は”白”が欲しかったんだけど、そんなにはうまくはいかないね。

１個４００円なら、出来は良いでしょう。

I was looking for The Toys Cabin Roadster capsule toy machine.
I finally found it.
And I've got three types of them.

I wanted to get the white one but it didn't come true.

One each price 400yen.
It's worth paying 400 yen.

　サイドマーカーレンズを自作した。

　近年は、サイドマーカーレンズを付けない車種が多いようで、付いてても、控え目なデザインなんだって。

へぇ～、ってことで、私も控え目な物を作ってみました。

必要な物

１００均で、宝石のようなライト　
同じく１００均、パテ・両面テープ
電球オレンジ
塗料

取り付けるとこんな感じに

唯一の物っていいよね。


I made a pair of side markers.

The side indicators are not attached to recent cars.
If those are attached.
Those are inconspicuous ones.

So I will create modest one.

【 Materials Required 】
Two lights (become lenses)
Putty / double-sided tape
Filament bulbs orange
Paint

It's a really pretty one.

　パワーウィンドーが下りななくなっていたのですが、
寒いので春まで放置していたら、初夏に・・・
開けてみたところ、グリスは、そこそこの状態でしたが、
ガイドローラーが割れていました、左右共。

とりあえず部品は無いので、グリスアップのみ。

そしたら、動くのね、
と、言うことで、交換はいずれ・・・いずれって、いつだよ？

When I was trying to grease power window wires.
I found the broken guide rollers . But they were ignored .
And I only applied grease to them instead of exchange.

The power windows could work regardless of broken guide rollers.
