　新型コロナウィルスのワクチン２回目を接種してきました。
これで、私は免疫を得ることになるのだよ。フフ（鼻）

いつまでも、自粛なんか続けてちゃ駄目でしょ？

狂犬病ワクチンを受けた犬のように散歩したい気分さ、
首から接種済みのタグを下げてね。

I am in the mood for go out like a rabies vaccinated dog with the two tags around my neck.

つい先日、エキマニをマキシムワークスからフジツボ（Super EX BASIC VERSION）に交換しました。
となると、２本を比較してみますかね、

まず私の好みはどちらかと言えば、マキシムなのですよ。

理由は、マキシムの方がアクセルレスポンスが良いのです、
吹け上がりも早いし、
低速が弱いと言われるけど、アイドリング付近の話よ、渋滞以外は関係ないし。

　さて、　フジツボの良い所と言えば、２分割の設計が良い。

１本に集合してから触媒前に、セカンドピースを設けて、
若干フレキシブルなガスケット構造で、耐久性がありそうです。

　見た目にほとんど変わらない２つのエキマニですが、乗り味は違うね～
気持ち的には、マキシムを修理してもう一回搭載したいんだけど、
そこまでお金を掛けてもね、
１本余っても、しょうがないし、現実的には、フジツボを使うことになるのか。

Recently my Roadster was replaced Exhaust Manifold the Maxim Works with the Fujitsubo.
So I'm going to compare Maxim Works with Fujitsubo.
As it turns out, I prefer Maxim Works to Fujitsubo.

There are two reasons.

First, the accelerator responds well and revs up quickly.

Second, It is said that at low speeds with low torque, but I'm only worried about only near idling.

By the way, the strength of Fujitsubo is the two piece design.

The second piece with a slightly flexible gasket is attached behind collected the four pipes into one pipe.
It seems to be durable.
And, the exhaust manifold is combined with the front of the catalyst.


The Maxim and The Fujitsubo both look similar in shape.

However, there is a difference in performance.

I wish I could fix the Maxim and use it, but a repair fee is required.
And, the other one will be left over .

I will probably be using The Fujitsubo.

　浜名湖に釣りに行ってきました。
釣果は約５０匹、
でも、ハゼのサイズは小さく、いまだ成長中ですね。

煮つけと塩焼きでいただきました。

I went fishing in Lake Hamanako.
About 50 fish was a good result.
However, the size of the gobies is small and it is still growing.

I enjoyed eating that boiled and grilled with salt.

　前回の続き、リンク【エキマニ割れる２回目。】
　蛇腹の部品が届いて、修理するまでの応急処置的に、耐熱パテとバンドを購入してきて、蛇腹のクラックを塞ごうかな？
と、エキマニを外してみたところ。



蛇腹が一周パックリ割れていて、エキマニは２分割に
これじゃ、応急処置は不可能

さて、どうしますかね、

蛇腹の部品の納品を待って、修理が完了するまで、不動車。
これは時間的に我慢できない。

通販で、新品を購入する方が、絶対早いけど、所詮、次の休日まで取り付け作業は出来ないし、これもどうかな？

ここは、アスタイリングに電話して、在庫があるか確認、
もちろん、持ってましたよ。

それで、買ってきて、暗くなるギリギリで取付完了。

でもよ～、
最初から、マキシムエキマニは寿命だと、判定できたなら、
フランジとパイプの溶接修理代も節約できたし、
耐熱パテとバンド代も必要なかったし
取り外し、取り付けの手間も一回で済んだんだけどな～。

涙，涙というよりは筋肉痛か。

　Continuation of the last time,

I bought a heat-resistant putty and bandages for first aid to close the cracks in the bellows until the bellows parts arrive and repair them.

When I removed the exhaust manifold.
I found divided the exhaust manifold into two from the bellows .
I see that it is impossible first aid.

Well, what should I do?

Waiting for the delivery of the bellows parts. It's a broken car until the repair is completed.
I can't stand untill then.

It's definitely faster to buy a new one by mail order, but after all, I can't install it until the next holiday, so how about this?

Of course they had it.

So I bought a new one and installed it just before it got dark.
But ...
If I had determined from the beginning that the Maxim exhaust manifold has reached the end of its life,
Welding repair costs for flanges and pipes could have saved, and there was no need for heat-resistant putty and bandages.

I should have removed and installed it only once.

　割れる～、割れる～よ、マキシムは割れる♪♫♩
マキシムのエキマニが割れるのは、宿命か？

今回は１番の排気管から、（前回は３番）
ということで、修理してきました。

朝方まで降り続いた雨は奇跡的に止み曇りに、これはチャンスとばかりに、
まず、溶接屋へお伺いに、「エキマニを外して来たら当日中に直せます？」って
＝「夕方には直せますよ」とのこと。

濡れた地面に寝転んで、外して、ドロドロだけど、なんか気分良し。

それで夕方に修理は完了して、

暗くなる前には車両に取り付けて、エンジンをかけると、フロアの下あたりから、
爆音が・・・蛇腹からか？ガスケットからか？
今日は暗くなったので、次の日に確認するつもり。
まぁ、蛇腹のクラックでしょ？と予想をつけて

実は、蛇腹が寿命に近いのは分かっていたので、
蛇腹の補修部品は注文してきたのでそれまで持てば良いのだよ。

と、この時は思って、酒飲んで寝たんだけど、この後大変なことに。

Is it fate that the Maxim exhaust manifold cracks?

This time from a No. 1 exhaust pipe (previously a No. 3)
So I had it repaired.

It went on raining until this morning after that it was a cloudy.
It was a fortunate opportunity for me.

First of all, I asked the welder. If I remove the exhaust manifold.
Would it be possible for you to fix by the end of the day?

= The welder said.It's possible by the evening.

I lie down on the wet ground and removed it. I got muddy. But I felt good.
After that the exhaust manifold was repaired by the evening.

I installed it to the vehicle and start the engine. I heard a loud exhaust note from bottom of the floor. Is that from the bellows? or from a gasket?

It has come dark outside today. so I'll check it the next day.
Well, I guess it's crack form bellows.

Actually, I knew that the bellows was near the end of its life.
So I have ordered the bellows repair parts.
I just wait it to arrive until then.

At this time I thought that.
I drank and went to bed.
But after that it was a big deal.
