本日のドライブは大阪から西へと向かう。
出発時刻がAM 9:30。
山陽道をビューンと飛ばしてできれば九州に到達したかったが、北九州まで200kmの看板を見て、心がくじけてしまい広島でリタイア。。。
九州にはまた今度再チャレンジ致します。

ということで、日本三景のひとつである宮島へ。
で、まず驚いたことは宮島には船で渡るということ。
橋でもかかってるかと思ってた。
あいにくの曇り空だったが、有名な海に浮かぶ鳥居を生で見れて満足。
写真も撮りまくったが、もひとつのでき。
天気のいい日にまた撮影したいな〜。
そのうちにまた行くような気がする。。。

帰りも山陽道を使って、PM 10:00に帰宅。
往復で約740kmの道のりでした。

お土産はベタですがもみじ饅頭でした。


When I stayed at Shiga Kogen (志賀高原), I could not make a New Year's visit to a shrine the reason being we got heavy snow. Thus I went to Miyajima (宮島) in Hiroshima last Sunday. Miyajima (宮島), is also called Itsukushima (厳島) alternatively, is an island in Seto Inland Sea, and has Itsukushima Shrine. The shrine is also one of the World Heritages. Miyajima is also one of the best 3 viewing spots in Japan. This was my first visit. To visit there it was necessary to get on a ship for about 10 minutes. After the arrival I walked along the bay side for a while, then I could also see the famous Torii (鳥居) in the sea. In this island there were many deers like Nara Park. Many visitors took pictures of the Torii. When I walked on the way to go back to the port I saw a huge Shamoji (杓子). It seems that Shamoji is one of the symbols of Miyajima.
