レースクイーンの威力を知らされました。

マイクロスポーツミーティングの参加者の皆様の紳士淑女っぷりが垣間みれます。

このスライドショーはマイクロスポーツミーティングの公式カメラマンとしてではなく、個人的な公開です。
あくまでもおまけ的な物と考えて下さい。

非常に反応が薄いんで画像を替えてみました。

ブログの内容は車関連に限定して書くつもりでしたが、今回は色々と自慢したい事や、衝撃を受けた事を長々と。

Since this is a car blog, I was only write about my life with my car, but this time I have a lot to talk about other than cars like things I want to blag and things that made a big impressions on this NY trip, so I made an exception.

海外旅行中で、脳内のアドレナリンが生産過多状態なのでかんべんしてください。
時間の貴重な方には、お進めしません。

Right now,I might be over excited about this trip and my writing may not be logical, so don't waist your time if you have more important things to do.

妹がアメリカ人の彼テッドと結婚（入籍だけ）してから、初の両家の顔合わせの為にニューヨークに来ています。

We are here in NJ to see Machiko, my sister, her baby, her husband and his extended family based in NJ.

今回、妹夫婦に2年ぶり、甥っ子に会うのは初めてでした。
二人はとても元気そうで、体重が以前よりも大幅に,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,ったようです。（ちゃんとした理由は有るんですけどね）
妹は、二人目が12月に出産予定なのでおなかがすっかり大きくなってました。

For me, this was the first time in 2 years to see Machiko & Ted and the first time to meet Kenji, their first son.

旦那さんは、以前のジャックバウアーみたいな感じのシャープなイメージは跡形もなくなって、すっかり丸くなってました。性格は元から温厚な感じだったので、外見と中身が一致したと思います、良い意味でw

２歳の甥っ子ケンジはとても活動的で性格の良いかわいい子で、これからの成長が非常に楽しみです。
叔父としては、彼の中にある日本人のアイデンティティを絶やさない様にお節介を焼いて行こうと思っています。

Kenji, a 2 years old, was a very good looking, very active and friendly little baby.
I can wait to see him grow up. As a Japanese uncle, I felt my duty was to give him as much oppotunitie to experience authentic Japanese culture because I want him to be able to identify real and fake Japanese, at least.

昨晩は、その甥っ子の従姉レイチェル(10歳）が子役で出演しているブロードウェイミュージカル『メリーポピンズ』を観てきました。これまでミュージカルは『女性や子供の観る物』と言う認識で自分は全く興味がなかったのですが、チケットも購入してもっらて、せっかく親戚の子が出演していると言うことで軽い気持ちで連れられて行きまし
た。

Last night, we went to see a musical show on Blordway which Kenji's cousin, Rachel has a major roll.


終わった後の感想
『ミュージカル最高〜！』『オーケストラ生演奏感動！』『メリーポピンズ愛してるぜ！』『あんなナニーに育ててほしかった...』『姪っ子凄過ぎ！女優じゃん！』
色々と意味不明ですがとにかく想像を遥かに超えて楽しめました。
終演後、姪っ子が自ら楽屋裏のツアーと記念撮影をしてくれて再びテンション上がりまくってました。

And what a wonderful experience it was.
I wasn't expecting much from the show because I didn't care for musical theater just because I never saw any kind of musical and thought it was for girls and children. But the first note came out of Rachel knocked my head off and pulled my mind into the story. I was drown into the story until the end of the show and I'm almost sure that my mind went up and down as the writer of the script and director of the show had planned. Of cause Rachel was great, but it wasn't just because she was in it, but the whole package of the musical theater, acting, direction, songs, live music, large sets, props, lighting, special effects and and all other things was well placed and well used that there was no distraction and the story line went stright to my brain without any kind of filter. I didn't even need to think to follow the story.

昨日あった会食にも家族で来ていたので、レイチェルのお母さんに頼んでポートレートを撮影させてもらい同時にブログへの掲載許可も頂きました。撮影した時はおとなしい普通の子供で, 前日の舞台上で出ていたオーラはありませんでした。

Rachel and her family came to the party the next day, and they spend some time to pose for my camera. Rachel was very natural in front of the camera, and I had great shots of her in short time, and nice family portrait as well.

この作品は、小説の原作とディズニーの実写映画を元にして創られたミュージカルで映画もテレビ放送で見た事はありましたが、今回のミュージカル版の方が圧倒的に楽しめたし、心が揺さぶられました。演技、演出、歌、演奏、セット、小道具、照明、特殊効果どれもが直接脳に刺激を与えてきて感情がシナリオの流れに沿って引っ張られる様でした。

まとまらないので、此処でやめます。
