Time to add the other parts, the radiator first.
This time i used Silicone Hoses instead of rubber , this one is from Artel Motorsport in UK and has a 5 year warranty.
There were 14 colours available.
I chose Metallic Green, i also have the heater hose and top hose to match.
Before the Summer it is a good time to think about the condition of radiator hoses.
Just in case the hoses split without warning.

他のパーツを加えるときが来ました、
まずはラジエーターから。

今回ゴム製ではなくシリコン製のホースを使いました。
UKのアーテル・モータースポート社製で5年間の保証がついたもの。14色から選べました。
僕のはメタリックグリーン。これにマッチする同色のヒーターホースとアッパーホースも購入しました。
ラジエーターホースのコンディションをチェックするのは夏前がよろしいかと
夏の暑さでホースが予告なく裂けちゃったりしたら困りますから　^_^;

I decided to test the winch i previously used, it seemed okay.

I was able to put Albas engine back in.
The new quick release engine mounts were easy to connect.
They just slotted together when i lowered the engine into position.
Then it was a simple job to insert the pins to hold them together.

Now i can start fitting everything else back on :-)

前回(エンジン降ろすときに)使用したウィンチ、テストしてみることにしました。
なんか大丈夫そうです。

無事アルバのエンジン戻すことができました。
新しいクイックリリースエンジンマウントを繋ぐのは簡単でした。
エンジンをマウントの位置に合わせて下ろしていくと勝手にハマってくれました。
あとはピンで上下一緒に留めるだけというシンプルさ。

これで他のものも全～部取付けが始められます　:-)

丸々キレイにしたしリビルドも終わったしあとは車に戻すだけ。
エンジンを降ろすときはウィンチを使ったけど、このウィンチ、安全性に問題アリです　lol

エンジンクレーン自作しようか考え中 !

浜名湖SAのミーティングに参加してからというもの、早く自分のミニを運転したくてたまりません　!!

The Engine all cleaned and re-built and ready just to put back in the car.
I used a winch when i removed the engine but it didnt look safe lol

Time to think about building my own engine crane !

After being at the meeting at Hamana SA i really want to drive my own mini again !!

オリジナルのカムフォロワー(バルブリフター)がけっこうくたびれてきたので、新しくミニスペアーズのものと交換します
同社のバルブリフターは、オイル用のドレン穴が開いていて、リフター周りにオイルが潤滑するのを助けて消耗を防ぐそう。
重さもオリジナルのものが48gなのに対し、こっちは37gと軽量。
The original cam followers were worn quite badly so will replace with these new MiniSpares ones.
They have a drain hole for the oil to help the lubrication around them and prevent any more wear.
These are much lighter weighing just 37g instead of 48g.

これでやっとシリンダーヘッドが取り付けられます。
ノーマルの銅製タイプのヘッドガスケットじゃなくて、新しい複合素材のタイプのヘッドガスケットを使う予定。
Now I can fit the cylinder head.
I will use a new composite type head gasket instead of the normal copper type.
