Mini with a Honda VTech engine

ホンダのVテックエンジン搭載ミニ

Some parts from MiniSport. I also ordered parts from MiniSpares hopefully they will arrive next week.

I checked all the prices with both companies before buying.

Also among the MiniSpares order are a few bits n pieces for a mini fanatic friend.
For whom, one mini isn't enough ;-)

ミニスポートから届いたパーツ。ミニスペアーズに注文してる分もあるけど、そっちは来週届けばいいなと思ってるとこ。

買う前にミニスポートとミニスペアーズ、両方のパーツ価格をチェックした結果こうなりました　^_^;

ミニスペアーズの注文の中にはミニ大好きのお友達の分もいろいろ入ってます。
そう、ミニ一台じゃ足りないそこのアナタの分ですよ　;-)

This was the final part to clean and repaint.
Now i can start rebuilding Albas engine.
Lots of parts have been ordered from the UK.
They are due any day now :-)

パーツをキレイにしてリペイントするのもこれで最後。
これでアルバのエンジンのリビルドも始めることができる♪
UKに注文した部品ももうすぐ来るころ　:-)

It will be my youngest sons Primary school entrance ceremony next month, and the wife
suggested that I wear traditional Scottish clothes, a kilt.
A true Scotsman doesn't wear any pants underneath the kilt.
I am thinking it may be too much........ but then again ........
As long as its not too windy that day.

来月次男の入学式がある。
で、入学式には僕もスコットランドの伝統的な衣装・キルトを着たらどうだろうとツマが言ってきた。
真のスコットランド人はキルトの下には下着をつけない...ので、僕的にはちょっと無理があるんじゃないかと思うけど...でもなぁ...
風が強い日じゃなきゃいいか。

I must admit i do have expensive taste with whisky, my favourite single malt is Laphroaig.
But i only buy for my birthday and New Year. :-(

So the rest of the year i drink blended whisky.
This was todays purchase, it is called "Dew of Ben Nevis" and is distilled and bottled at the foot of Ben Nevis which is Scotlands highest mountain.

Will it last a few days or a whole week ?

僕はウイスキーに関しては舌が肥えてるほうだと思う。一番好きなシングルモルトはラフロイグ。誕生日とお正月にしか買えないけど　:-(

なので、普段はブレンドウイスキーを飲んでます。
これは今日の買い物。"Dew of Ben Nevis(ベン・ネイビスのしずく？)"といって、スコットランドで一番高い山、ベン･ネイビスのふもとで蒸留＆ボトルづめされたもの。

これ１本で数日、いや一週間もつ...かなぁ？
