Foot rest (dead pedal) from Mazda

The installation should be simple and straightforward and just retrofit to where the foot rest should be located.

However, I do not want to bolt it on the carpet directly. To offset the two diagonal locations where the screw is fastened, I cut a foam and stick on the back of the black plate to flatten the back.

The two screws were shortened.

To make the foot rest stick on the mounting point but not permenently, I use velco, stick on the foam

Happily installed!!
