I was recommended full coverage insurance until I get used to the new car.

The insurance will help me if I get into an accident with a driver without insurance.

I thought I didn’t need it because I never had an accident with an uninsured motorist.

But I might have been lucky.

The yahoo insurance page says the motorists who have optional insurance are below 75%, while the 25% only has the minimum obligational insurance which is run by the Japanese government and is said to be not enough to cover all the expenses caused by the accident.

What would you do if you get into an accident with the party who has only obligational insurance or in the worst case, no insurance?

That is why you need to have optional insurance.

It doesn’t guarantee that just because I never had an accident with such people I will never have an accident with such people forever.

It is just a probability.

My brother, handles an insurance job at his motor garage, recommended me to think about.

Hopefully I never have to use the insurance but it is good to have just in case.
