久しぶりに友人のT氏（リンク参照）とカリフォルニア出張が重なり、さらにT氏の友達（実は私の他の友人の友人であった！）と同僚と４人で雨の中　SONOMAでのワイン開拓の旅に出かけてきました。(⌒-⌒)

今回は生憎の雨の中、途中Russian Riverの洪水を見ながら６箇所のワイナリーを訪問しました。　T氏とその友人はかなりワイン通で　色々教えてもらいながら今回は試飲して気に入った（直ぐ飲んでも美味しそうな）４本を買ってきました♪　彼らは各１２本も買って日本へ発送していた…（汗）　　

帰ってから飲むのが楽しみです♪


Eventually Mr. T, my friend's business travel to USA is in the same week of my travel. His friend (actually a friend of my other friend. Surprised!!) and my colleague, totally 4 persons went to SONOMA winery in the rain today in order to explore new nice wines for us.(⌒-⌒)

It was sometime heavy rain, and we were looking at flood of Russian River. We visited 6 wineries today. Mr. T and his friend know wine well deeply. I bought 4 bottles of wine by tasting it and suggestions from them. (⌒-⌒)
They bought 12 bottles each and fedexed it to Japan!!! (;^_^A

I am looking forward to drinking these wines in Japan.(⌒-⌒)

友人に頼まれて久しぶりに香水を買いに行きましたよ。（汗） 　"CHANEL COCO MADEMOISELLE"って何？って感じ…（大汗） 　　日本の値段（１６，８００円）を聞いていたのですが　この円安状態でも３０００円以上安い! (⌒-⌒)

店員にはバレンタインが近いからねー　この袋を使うと良いよーって　バレンタイン用”Kiss & Tell”の袋をもらいました。　このまま香水を友人に渡すのが何か恥ずかしい…。　(;＾◇＾;)ゝ　別に何も意味は無いのですかねー。（笑）

P.S　やっぱりバレンタインは男性から女性に贈り物をするようですね♪　(⌒-⌒)


My friend in Japan asked me to buy a perfume in USA.　I was not familiar with the name of perfume “CHANEL COCO MADEMOISELLE” I wondered what is that? (;^_^A
She checked the Japan price (16,800JPY) of that, the CHANEL (US$110) what I bought was cheaper than Japan price even a weak JPY against US$! (⌒-⌒)

A clerk of Macy’s said “now it is a time for Valentines and you can use this bag for the present”. He gave me “Kiss & Tell” bag. I may feel ashamed when I hand this perfume with bag to my friend. Nothing special meanings for this…. (;^_^A

P.S. I have learned that men give a present to women on Valentine’s Day in USA. (⌒-⌒)

US出張の時は必ず食べる”蜘蛛巻き”？（笑）
はみ出している部分が蜘蛛の足の様にみえることからこの名前？　（写真では良く分かりませんが…汗）

ご存知の方も多いと思いますが　Soft-shell crab(脱皮したカニ)をから揚げにして巻物にしたお寿司♪　Spider-rollって言います。　これが美味しい♪　なぜ日本には無いのでしょうか？　東京都内のホテルで出しているらしいと云う噂は聞いたことがあります。　シンガポール、マレーシアや中国にもあります！（苦笑）

写真は１０年前の開店当時から出張時には立ち寄っているサンノゼ市の日本人町（Jacksonと5th streetの角）にあるKUBOTAというレストランで撮りました。
↓ちょっとお洒落な店内（旧イタリアン・レストラン？）とリーズナブルな価格と味は私のお気に入りです。

When I visit USA, I always eat “Spider-roll” at Japanese Restaurant.　You may know this well. The soft-shell crabs are fried and rolled for SUSHI. It is called “Spider-roll” This is my favorite in USA. I have never seen this roll in Japan. I have heard a rumor that a certain hotel restaurant may serve this roll in Tokyo. I know this roll in Singapore, Malaysia and China too.

I took the picture of spider-roll at the KUBOTA Japanese restaurant that I often visit for 10 years (since they opened). It is a nice inside and outside of restaurant, reasonable price with good quality of Japanese meals. I like this restaurant very much!

今日は朝８時から午後６時までみっちり研修で　おまけにスコットランド訛りの英国人が講師で疲れました。（汗）　ニューヨークから来た同僚が７０％しか分からなかったって言っていたので我々日本人は・・・・です。（苦笑）

夜にチームディナーがあって　オランダ人、フィンランド人、ニューヨーク人（？）と同じテーブルで　色々お国の話をしていて驚いたので"KARAOKE"って　もうフィンランドでもオランダでも、勿論米国でも使える単語ですね♪　”TSUNAMI”もそうだよって言われて　サザンオールスターズ？って聞いたらシラケました・・・。　これは分からないねー（笑）


Today I was in the off-site training from 8AM to 6PM. An instructor was a Scottish with Scottish accent English. A colleague from NYC said that she could understand 70% what he was saying. So, we, Japanese could understand XX or X% his English. (;^_^A

Tonight we had team dinner. I join the table with Dutch, Finland, New Yorker, and talked about local topics for each country. I was suppressed that we can use “KARAOKE” as common words in Finland, Holland, of course in USA as well! Dutchman said “TSUNAMI” too. I told him about “TSUNAMI” of “Southern All Stars” (Japanese popular group) but the talks were spoiled…. Nobody knew Southern All Stars… I supposed they may have known it… (;^_^A

US出張の時はレンタカーは移動のために必需品。

でも何でいつもヒュンダイの”SONATA”なの？（苦笑）
CARVIEWでのHNが”SONA”だからー？（汗）

V6でそこそこエンジンは回っています。　でも室内に入り混む騒音がチープな感じを受けます。　特に後方からの走行ノイズ（何だろう？）…。


On the US travel I always need a rent-a-car for transition to offices and customer sites.

However, I am surprised that every time “SONATA”, Hyundai was assigned for me. Does my HN,“SONA”of the Carview site cause this? (;^_^A　

SONATA is not bad of V6 engine feelings but the noise in the room makes cheep impression. Especially it is from the rear on driving. I wonder what it is?　 ┐(￣ヘ￣）┌
