Convoy headed to Watkins Glen International race track.

80mph parade lap still felt slow. Most race cars hit 130mph+ on the front straightaway. We had to stop in several corners because of traffic congestion. Toyota Camry pace car (yuck!) and senior citizens in equally old BMW 2002s got in our way.

Driving on this world class track gives new appreciation for elevation change. I will return next time in a single seat open wheel race car.

Lap of old 6.6 mile street course. In the 1950's this would have been very scary and dangerous but also very fun! Now speed limit is 25mph in park section but 55mph on long straightaway section.
