As part of preventative maintenance & sometimes noticing on the odd occasion nothing but a click when attempting to start the engine, it was decided to replace the CAS.

With a standard height Highway Star, it's possible to access this sensor from under the LHS of the van, without ramps or a jack.

Connector disconnected, single mounting removed & sensor removed from cavity.

New sensor in place & torqued to ~10Nm.

With connector reconnected & from another angle.

Engine then started to confirm operation & the job is done in no time!
