Matte Black Vinyl Car Wrap 2

We made a lot of progress this past weekend! The only parts not finished are the driver side door, driver side quarter panel, and the rear bumper. We will finish this week!

I need to take a picture of the front bumper... this was the most difficult part. It took my roughly 10 hours to complete the front bumper alone... very frustrating because of all the vents and curves!!!

Passenger side done!


Driver side fender wrapped. I then took it off the car and wrapped the vinyl around the edges.


Trunk completed!


Roof completed!

Hi Zack,

WOW! Wrapping's really coming about! And it's looking really great too.
I've seen carbon-type wrappings before, and they loook good in magazines but when I took a close look at it shown at car show events, there were many cuts made to cover for the curves. Do you have to cut and separate the sheet when it's beyond the extention point even when it's warmed up? I could feel for the precision and care you've taken. Man... 10 hours? Wow!!

It came to me looking at the pics, that partial wrapping might look nice also!

Mikey,
Thank you very much! We just finished the rear bumper tonight, it took about 8 hours. The remaining 2 parts will be quick I hope!

For the stretching of the vinyl, so far I have been able to heat and stretch it around all parts without any seams - except for the vents on the front bumper. Unfortunately they are very deep, and the vinyl would nbot stretch far enough. There are seams, on the vents, but they are even and difficult to notice.

When the car is complete I will have detailed pictures.
