Today was another hot day, almost 90 degrees! I spent most of the morning at my friends mechanics shop helping him out, and then I went to the upholstery shop to order the leather for the seats in my G35. They will change the leather next Saturday.

I started working on the car today at about 2pm, and it was still very hot! I first installed the Blitz Sus Power Core Type LM air filter that Keizo sent me (thanks Keizo)! Very easy to install, I will paint the metal bracket black tomorrow.


I already wired and hooked the gauges up last weekend, so today I just needed to mount them all. I placed the Bee*R rev limiter close to the steering area and made a holder for the 2 Greddy gauges (boost controller and turbo timer). The holder is still very rough and I will smooth all the edges and paint it tomorrow.


Here is a picture of the interior... I am taking all of the sound deadening material out, and am finally almost finished. It is very time consuming and tedious to remove the sound deadening, so I've been doing very small amounts at a time. I plan on finished it tomorrow as well and hopefully painting it so the bare metal does not rust. Soon I will have a full roll cage welded in.
