My friend had a small car accident the other day, so we took his car to be repaired at my friends body shop. Since I was going there anyway, I took my grille with me and had him paint it semi-gloss metallic/black. I dropped it off yesterday, picked it up and installed it this morning - very quick! I like it, but I'm not sure if I like it more than the original Nissan emblem grille. What do you guys think?
Here is a link to my friend John's photo gallery from Hot Import Nights. There are 1190 pictures!!! A lot of pictures from the day before the event, during the event, and models!
This picture is me waiting to drive my car into the show area... my friend John took the picture without me knowing - I think it's kind of cool :)
My car in the show with import model Miss Genna :)
This model (I'm still trying to find her name) was in a video that was being filmed at my car. I think my car will be in the HIN video when it comes out :)
This car won a lot of awards... very cool sedan!
I didn't take very many pictures of the cars, and the pictures I did take did not come out very good because it was so dark. My friend John had a better flash then mine so I am waiting for his pictures. Here is a site that has pics of a lot of the cars- HIN Car pics More HIN Car pics
Everyone did take a lot of pictures of the models though :) Here are a few!
My friend John, one of the members that showed with us, took some videos with his small camera. I have not had a chance to look at my pictures yet, maybe tomorrow... but John put his videos on YouTube. Here they are!
This shows our team, called "R Rides" getting ready before the show on Friday. I think we are the only team with all CPV35's (8 total), which a lot of people liked! John also walked through most of the event, so you can see a lot of the cars that were on display.
The show was very large, and had 3 different performance stages. Throughout the show there were different performances by import models, such as bikini contests, lingerie contests, dancing, etc. The entire Hot Import Nights idea is to show the import car culture to a larger audience - the cars and girls are the main attraction. Here are some videos of the girls!
Viet won an award for "Hottest SUV", and another member Randy won "HIN City Challenge". We all had a great time, and for a first show I found that it was a lot of work, but very fun! During the show they turn off all of the lights and you must light up your car/display. This makes it very difficult to take pictures. I will have more pictures that I took, and some pictures that other members took tomorrow!
