Today I received my new camera mount - the thing that makes it unique is that it allows you to mount the camera on the outside of the car... this will be great for racing events, or for taking pictures of cars in motion. I only have a still camera, so I took it out and did 1 test shot while driving around. When I have time I will take many more pictures :)

Today I removed the automatic seatbelt control unit and all of the wiring for it from the S13. I removed the automatic seatbelts many months ago, but never removed the control unit. I finally decided to clean up all of the wiring and remove anything I didn't need.

Here is the original wiring harness, there are a lot of extra unused wires.


This is the harness after all the extra wires were removed and the harness was taped up. It is much cleaner!


Here you can see all the extra wires, the control unit, and all of the old tape that I removed today. What a mess!

The last post had a temporary Nardi steering wheel installed, I ordered another one 2 days ago and it arrived today! I think it matches the interior very well... it has perforated leather on the inside and plain leather on the outside, similar to my coupe seats!

It is 350mm, just a little smaller than the standard wheel I think, and very comfortable!

Many members here want the Nissan airbag cover, so I decided to trade mine to speed things up. I will put the original wheel back on with the Nissan cover, but only after more trading has occurred :)

I have a new steering wheel ordered, this is only temporary. I think it looks kind of cool though, and the steering feels more firm and very easy to turn. I think the new steering wheel is smaller and lighter then the original wheel.

About 1 month ago I had a small accident and my rear wheel hit the curb. It got really badly damaged, and there are no good shops here that can fix RAYS wheels. I called all of the wheel shops here to order a replacement, and the best price was over $800USD and a 3 month wait. Keizo ordered my replacement wheel for much less and I have it in about 1 month - much better!!! Thank you very much Keizo!
