Soon I will be installing my new LSD and final drive gears into my G35. I purchased the Nissan 4.08 gear set, which should increase my acceleration considerably!

About 2 weeks ago I installed an AT trans cooler. I connected the cooler so the line out from the transmission passed through the built in radiator cooler first, then through the new transmission cooler, and finally back into the transmission. This seemed to work well, but I was having a slight leak with the steel braided hoses and standard clamps that I used. This weekend I changed all the hoses and lines so that they would accept Earl's AN fittings. Now everything is much more secure!

Here you can see all of the steel braided hoses I have for cooling heheheh... some are for the ARC oil cooler, and the others are for the new transmission cooler.


We took the original fittings off of the radiator transmission cooler and modified them to work with the AN fittings. Earl's sells a small fitting that you can weld onto existing fittings, allowing them to accept AN fittings.


On the hard fluid lines from the transmission (in and out), I had to cut off the flared line end, and install a special Earl's fitting. This fitting fits over hard lines and clamps on once tightened. Once installed, the fit is very secure and will not leak or come off - and it allows for a standard AN fitting to be used.

Today we went racing at Willow Springs Raceway! It's about 90 miles from my house in the middle of the desert. They have 3 different large race tracks at Willow Springs, and I raced on the "Streets of Willow" track. We had a great day, the only bad thing was the weather... it was very cold and windy today, with a high chance of rain.

I raced in 5 races today, and got 1st place for 3 of the races and 2nd place for 2 of the races among all of the timed cars in my group.

2 weeks ago I went to a local Nissan Tuning shop called Churches Automotive. They performed a dyno tune on my car and optimized my ecu to work with all of my modifications. They also removed the speed limited, removed the throttle body limitation (it will now open 100%), and put a total of 5 tuning maps on my original ECU.

It is very cool, I can switch to different tuning maps using my cruise control switches. I can switch from performance, original, economy (better fuel economy), valet (car will not go over 4000rpm or 40mph), the 5th map I left blank.

My baseline dyno: 258.9 rwhp, 237.1 lbft torque

The dyno used is known to read pretty high, so I truly do not believe that my car has that much power. I will go to another dyno that is known to be more accurate and compare the power differences. Regardless of the numbers, the car runs much better now! It feels much quicker and responsive throughout the entire power band!

I also got an Osiris Uprev kit. I will post more info on this when I have time to take pictures and video. It is a OBDII cable to usb cable that plugs into your computer, and with special software, records and monitors your car as you drive. It also monitors for any error and diagnostic codes, and allows for some adjustment to ecu and bcm functions!

This past weekend we printed and installed decals on a twin turbo Supra! The car has over 600rwhp, and is daily driven and raced by a girl! Very cool!
