This weekend I got a new hood from Marty. I installed Aerocatch hood pins, and then wrapped the hood in vinyl to match the rest of the car. Vents are very difficult to wrap, and this has 8!!!

This is a genuine Top Secret fiberglass hood, that was cut and modified. The original design of the hood only has 3 vents per side and they are at a slightly different angle. Marty had the body shop change the vent angle and add 1 more vent per side. This is a 1 of a kind hood :)

We finished right before the big meeting tonight. These are not good pictures and I will have better pictures this weekend... plus it was very damp outside today, so the car looks a little shiny. It is complete though, finally finished!!!

Just a quick update... here are pictures of the front and rear bumper fully wrapped. We should finish the remaining pieces tonight!

We made a lot of progress this past weekend! The only parts not finished are the driver side door, driver side quarter panel, and the rear bumper. We will finish this week!

I need to take a picture of the front bumper... this was the most difficult part. It took my roughly 10 hours to complete the front bumper alone... very frustrating because of all the vents and curves!!!

This past weekend we started to wrap the G35 in matte black vinyl wrap. It is very difficult work, but when it is complete it looks very nice. Before we started we had to first remove all of the vinyl graphics on my car, and then clean the paint... this took a very long time.

This material is very interesting, you place it on the part and gently heat it with a heat gun. It gets a little stretchy and then you can stretch it over the part and smooth it with a felt tool. It takes some time and work to make it look smooth.

Of course, my car is not finished... we were only able to do 1 rear quarter panel, 1 fender, and 1 side skirt. We will work this week and coming weekend to finish the entire car.

We still have a lot more work to do! Once the car is completely covered, we will apply a new graphic design.
