This past weekend I traveled from Tokyo to Hita, to attend the Super GT race at Autopolis circuit (thank you for the ticket Keizo!). I am now traveling slowly back to Tokyo, and today I stopped at Kobe. For dinner I ate Kobe steak, and it was the best steak I have ever had!




Yesterday I was in Hiroshima. At night I walked around the Nagarewara district and went to a bar called "Batubulan". I met the shop owner Shiro, and his friend Ken Okazaki. Shiro spoke and understood English very well, Ken only spoke very little English, but we were all so drunk that we had a very good time. We drank many beers and smoked many cigarettes while trying to talk to each other.

If you ever travel to Hiroshima, please stop by Batubulan and say hello to Shiro!

I wanted to create a drawing of my car that was in a similar style to the Option Magazine cover. I'm not sure what I will use this for exactly, it was just something I finished during my free time.

Today I am gathering everything I need for my trip to Japan. My passport had to be updated, so I did that about 1 month ago. I purchased my JR rail pass so I can travel to Fukuoka from Tokyo to see the Super GT race at Autopolis.

All that is left for me to do is to go to our shop today and get all of the parts needed to complete the work that we will do on Keizo's car!

I installed the headlight duct yesterday and so far there have been no leaks or signs of condensation - hopefully it is sealed up and won't have any problems. We might be going racing this coming weekend, so hopefully the new duct will provide the engine with cool air.

I still have some work planned to finish this up, but here's a little teaser. I removed the fog light on the drivers side, and had an air duct made to fit in the empty slot. The air duct gets routed towards the open end of my ARC air box.

I plan on painting the inside of the headlights black, and tapering the outer edge of the duct a little more.
