This past weekend we went to Willow Springs Raceway and raced on the Streets of Willow course. It was very hot (96 degrees!!!), but the cars performed very well throughout the 5, 25 minute long race sessions.

Yesterday we attended the Redline Time Attack Practice day. We got to drive in 5 20 minute long sessions, and had a great time. I was driving on my new Zeal suspension, Nismo LSD, Work wheels, and Nitto NT05 tires.

Today I received my new Work Emotion XD9 wheels! These will be used for the race track only, and I will be getting r-compound tires for them. The sizes are 18x9 +20, and 18x10 +18, and the finish is a custom matte black powder coat. The other good news is that Rare JDM is now an authorized dealer of Work Wheels!

This past weekend we traveled to San Francisco (approx. 400 miles), to attend the Wekfest JDM car show. I started a new car team with the Rare JDM name, and this was our first event attended as a team. We did very well, and won 8 awards! I will post more pictures of all the team member cars later tonight.

I installed my Zeal Coilovers last week, and let the springs settle. This weekend I made final adjustments and then went to the alignment shop. The rear is a little lower than it was before, and the tires were making slight contact with the fender wall. Luckily we have a fender rolling tool, and with a little patience I managed to roll the fender lip in without cracking or chipping the paint. Now there is no rubbing!

I will post a picture of the cars new stance tonight... it is now just a little lower.
