My old friend works at Apex'I, and gave me a very good deal on an exhaust system. This is made for the Z33, but works with the V35 if you make an 8 inch extension pipe that fits between the Y-Pipe and Midpipe. This is MUCH louder than the Borla exhaust I had before! It comes with a silencer that makes it a lot quieter, but without the silencer the sound is very aggressive! The style is a single exit titanium exhaust, and the entire system weights only 14 pounds! I am very happy with it!

Yesterday I received my ARC Titan Strut Tower Bar. I have not had a chance to drive the car yet, it has been raining very hard the past week - so I am not sure if there is any improvement in rigidity.


Here are pictures of all of the other ARC parts I have... I am close to having the entire collection hahahahah.

Since I have a polished plenum, and do not use the Infiniti or Nissan engine cover, the main engine harness is exposed. I thought it looked kind of ugly, so I made an aluminum cover to hide some of the harness. I think that it matches the style of the ARC Induction box, and hides the harness nicely!

Since I have the ARC Induction Box, I decided to make a similar box to cover the power steering fluid reservoir, radiator overflow tank, and windshield washer fluid filling neck. I went to my friends mechanic shop, and cut the part out of a sheet of aluminum. I then bent it on his press, and had his friend weld it. After I got the fit perfect, I made custom brackets and polished it. I am still looking for a shop that can make vents on the top cover, similar to the ARC top cover.

I like it because it makes the engine bay look cleaner and is more symmetrical!

I was lucky to get the ARC oil catch can from my friend for a very cheap price! He bought it for his car, and then decided not to use it. Since it is made for the Z33, and the radiator fill neck is on the opposite side, some modifications needed to be made. I made a custom bracket, and modified the upper fan shroud, to move the catch can to the left of the engine bay.

I also replaced all of the hoses that the ARC oil catch can included, with Earl's nylon braided hose. The engine polishing is almost complete, and then I will be finished for now with the engine bay!
