　マキシムのエキマニからフジツボのエキマニに交換してから、どうにも満足できない吹け上がりになりまして、

フジツボの方が、パイプ径が細いですから排気の抜けが悪いんでしょうな。
マキシムに未練はあるのですが、修理する気にもなれないし、

ここで、長年の経験が活きてくるのですよ、
ロードスターの場合、吸気抵抗を減らせるエアフィルターで、若干良くなるんですよ。

ここで、HKSの交換用フィルターを発注、フレームは持ってる。
HKSのフィルターと言えば”緑”のイメージでしたが、

今のは”白”なのですね。

ロードスターの場合”Sサイズ”（70017-AK101）で足ります、
これをカットして交換すれば、完了です。

効果は、マシになったけど、やっぱマキシムのエキマニの方が良いねって感じです。

画像のフィルタースポンジの向きは、裏表逆向き、
下から吸入して、上に抜けてエンジンに供給、車両に取り付けた時にHKSのロゴが上に来るのが正しい向きです、取り付け時に修正しました。

I have not satisfied with the engine revs up since I changed an exhaust manifold a Fujitsubo from a Maxim Works.


Fujitsubo's is Poor exhaust efficiency than Maxim Works's.
Because the pipes diameter is smaller than Maxim Works's.

I am still attached to Maxim's, but I don't feel like repairing it.(I don't want to pay the cost.)

Now is the time to make use of my experience.

In the case of Roadster.
A low air resistance air filter has the ability to improve engine revs up.

I ordered an HKS air filter, right away.(I have an HKS flame.）
HKS filter is about green color but it is currently white.
S size (70017-AK101) is suitable for Roadster.

Just Cut the filter and install it.

The effect of the air filter is nice, but after all I love The maxim's accelerator response.

The above image of filter is inside out.

The air is sucked from underside and flows to upper side, then it is supplied to the engine.
The HKS logo will be on the top when it attached to the vehicle.
I fixed it when installed it.

Odometer 190300km

運転中ふと、ガラスに小さい欠けが増えてることに気付きました。
ほぼ、毎日乗る車ですから、最近ついたものと推測しましたが、
私の目も衰えていますから、推測の域を超えません。

数えてみると１７個、過去に付いた物と合わせて、２１個に
流石にフロントウインドウなので、２５年もたてば、このくらいになりますかね？
どうするかって？そのまま乗るんだよ！！


When I was driving I noticed some very tiny chips increased on the front window.
I use the car almost every day, so I guess that these were increased recently.

But my eyes are farsightedness, so just a guesswork.

I counted 17 chips and summed up previous 4 became total 21.

It is the 25 year old car, so I wonder what this state is appropriate for car's age.

What am I supposed to do?　

I'm not going to repair.
Just ride!!

　助手席側のトップロックの内側から、雨漏りするようになりました。
ここからの漏れだと、ウェザーストリップ（ヘッダー）ですかね？

でも、ウェザーストリップ（ヘッダー）を交換する前に、トップロックの密着を強めてみますか？
さて、どう強める？

ストライカーのボルトと穴の遊び分、ストライカーを前に出せれば、
若干、密着が強くなる？
使用しているボルトは”トルクス”か・・・外せる工具は確か持ってない・・・
ので、放置。

のはずが、１週間も雨が降り続く予報だとよ。

これはどうにかしなければ、と
そういえば、思い出した。
トップロック本体に調整機構があったことを、調整方法をネット検索してみると、

あら、調整ネジを指で回すだけなのね。（工具要らず）

でも、強くし過ぎは厳禁なようで、まぁ、この辺かな？という強さに調整しておきました。

その後も順調に？雨は降り続き、漏れ確認にはちょうど良い。

今の所、雨漏りは止まっています。

My Roadster has leaked water from the inside of the top lock on the passenger seat side.

I assume that the leak occurred because of wear the header weather strip.

Before I replace it. I will try to strengthen seal up the top lock adhesion

Well, What should I do?

If I can move the striker forward to backlash of the bolt holes.
It might be increase adhesion.

It is fastened with the torx bolts.
But I don't have a torx wrench.
So I was going to neglect it.

But, according to the weather forecast it will continue to rain for the week.


Umm, I have to do something about that.　　

Rings a bell. I just remembered the top lock has adjustment mechanism.
I searched for adjustment methods on the internet.

Oh, Just turn the adjusting nut with my fingers.(No need tools.)

But, Don't shrink it too much.

So, I adjusted it properly.(Maybe.)


After that it went on raining.
It was a good opportunity to check for leaks.


So far somehow the leak has stopped.

　定期オイル交換をしました。
他、運転席側のワイパーブレードも交換、

このワイパーブレードを買う時に、店で、適合表を見るじゃないですか、
そこにはＮＡロードスターの表記が無くなっていました。
時代の流れですかね？

ちなみにＮＢ用の表記の品番の物で同品です。

次回は４ℓ缶を用意。

I changed the engine oil in my car.
I usually change the engine oil in my car every 2500 km.

Also I changed a wiper blade at driver's seat side.

When I purchase a wiper blade I check a measurement table.
But there is no mentioned for NA type.

Is the NA type a obsolete product？

Incidentally, The wiper blade for NB the same as for NA.


I need to prepare a 4 liter can of oil.

いつまでも、自粛なんか続けてちゃ駄目でしょ？

狂犬病ワクチンを受けた犬のように散歩したい気分さ、
首から接種済みのタグを下げてね。

This is the last vaccination.

I will get immunity.

We should not continue indefinitely a state of emergency.

I am in the mood for go out like a rabies vaccinated dog with the two tags around my neck.
