Sorry for quite some time it is vacant.

This month we worked a lot in order to participate in the competition.


I went to Okayama to do a gymkhana competition three days in November.
Participation is a vehicle name "Y'sR Fortis SB with Team Dakar".

Y'sR (Y's Racing) was taken from my initials.
Fortis SB (short for Galant Fortis Sportback) is a Japanese name of LancerSportback.
Taem Dakar, but maintenance shop belonging to the members was supposed to join together this time.


The competition was scheduled to go to several participants together from Oita.
However, participants were broken vehicle one week before the competition do.
Therefore, other participants are no longer able to participate.

So, I was supposed to take part in the competition alone.

It was hard to do alone cleaning up from the preparation.
In addition, it was very hard more than that I will have to do by myself all the long-distance driving.



I am so tired. However, in Okayama has brought great encounter for me.
So, I feel comfortable in this tired.

I immediately went to the sister shop of Cherish the Dakar for Okayama.
Have a lot of car for the competition to do here, and I was very excited.
I mashed the time to talk a lot about life and much of the competition thing.


I moved the location to Washuzan then.
I have been waiting for a nice encounter here.

First, two of the Impreza owner.
Very friendly and gave us a tour of the beautiful night view both of them.
In addition, it was possible to talk of a car or the like rises.

Then, Colt owners who brought me a photo of last month's MMF.
He delivered me a very nice photo.
Then I also talk about the car bounce a lot.
There seems to be very interested in circuit racing, he and I were able to advice a lot.


Eating a delicious curry after they broke up with, I finished the day before the competition.

Wake up early in the morning, take a little extra breakfast at the hotel, I went into the hall in a state of mind.
Such as tire replacement and finished dressing, I wanted to compete in enough fighting spirit.

Thoughts
In Gymkhana for the first time, I was very excited.
However, it was nearly 20 seconds slower than the top.
While this is the performance of the car, it is also my own bad technique.
Top time of 1'30 .25 overall (Mazda MX5), 1'32 .40 4WD was top class (Impreza).

I thought I better grades and I was running the circuit on a regular basis, so I was practicing in IPPON KUNUGI SPEED WAY.

However, gymkhana and circuit was completely different.
Able to run into repeatedly the circuit.
It is one-shot deal but the gymkhana.

There are many points to think, if tightened in a word, was "underestimated"
If I want to do my best if I can also challenge, so leave a better performance.

Okayama gave me a great meeting and feel a little frustrated.
