Perfection: Achieved.

With the "wheel fitment" scene constantly growing, it is easy to get carried away and end up with a set of wheels that were clearly not meant to ever be on your car. Whether it's their width/offset (yes, there is such a thing!), design or even their finish. Running the craziest offsets or the most expensive set of wheels doesn't "magically" make your car "proper" if we may, it's the overall look that matters, to us at least. If you agree with us, you will love the car we have for you tonight. This beautiful Lexus IS-F belongs to a good friend of ours out of San Diego whose name is Cris Mcallister. It's a perfect, and we mean perfect example of how you too can have a proper sitting car without going overboard.

Photos By: Jay Pena exclusively for StanceNation.com

It features a few quality carbon fiber parts such as Tom's CF body kit and the Ventroos CF trunk made by Vorsteiner. Cris also de-badged the entire car and took off the "shark fin" diffuser that can be found above the roof spoiler on stock IS-F's. We still can't get over the fact that this is an IS-F and not just a standard 250 or 350. What we love the most about the car though is the way it sits of course, so why don't we get into that some more? Check out the custom finished wheels that this thing is rocking!

Here comes the good part. Cris dropped the car on KW V3 coilovers, he installed the Toms strut bars and undercarriage bars, and he then mounted a set of custom finished (Battleship Gray) set of Volk TE37's. They are 19x9.5 (+25) upfront and 19x10.5 (+35) in the rear wrapped in 265/30/19 and 235/35/19 Falken tires. He finished the wheels off with some Project Kics neo chrome lug nuts and put on Project mu street pads! Hit the Read More button for more specs and dope photos.

In case you are wondering, the car does get tracked quite often. While you won'd find anything wild under the hood, Cris just had to add a few things here and there. Things like Tom's throttle controler, some Sikky headers, ISS Forged track exhaust, Tom's hybrid filter, Joe z intake and small things such as Tom's GT shifter that many in the IS-F community say nothing but good things about.

We'll wrap things up with a few photos that our photographer Jay Pena snapped a couple days prior to the ones you see above. Huge thanks to him as well as Cris for agreeing to this feature. Cris wanted to give a shout out to Jay Pena, his family, his girlfriend Eileen, Team Arkan, DUDE BLVD Crew, 5&ADime, all of his friends that helped him with the build. Cris tells us to expect a full cage, new seats and a supercharger in the very near future! Email us your rides to snfeatures@gmail.com if you think your ride has the "fitment & looks" it takes to end up on our site.

The Static Life!

We remember when Angelo first sent us a private message on our forum a few months ago asking us if we would be interested in featuring his car, and if we can make it happen rather fast as he thought that the kit wouldn't last long due to the car being so low. Well, here we are about 6-7 months later and even though the car may be a bit bruised up it's still in one piece! He has somehow managed to daily the car and even take trips from Socal to Las Vegas to kick it with the LowBallers & RoyalOrigin family that he is a part of. While it may not be the flashiest Z around, we're willing to bet that most of you will appreciate & respect the dedication behind it. With that said, let's get into some specs and photos!

Photos By: Jeff Payuan exclusively for StanceNation.com

We asked many of you on our Facebook today if you could guess what the wheels are that Angelo is rocking. As expected, many of you got it right from the start. They are indeed SSR Gartmaiers, 18x10 up front and 18x11 in the rear with "unknown" offset. It's not a secret, Angelo just really isn't too sure on the offsets. The front tires are 215/40/18 and the rears are 235/40/18. For suspension, Angelo mounted some SMA coilovers (pretty rare in the "fitment" community) and he tweaked the front and rear camber with Ichiba camber arms and toe bolts. The photos below really speak for themselves.

When it came time to add some exterior goodies Angelo wanted to try something a bit different! All authentic Veilside front lip, Chargespeed side skirts, JP Aero rear diffuser and he ended things with a Stillen roof wing. The skirts are literally an inch off the ground as well the front lip. Like we said before, what impresses us even more is the fact that Angelo drives this thing everywhere! As always, don't forget to click the Read More button to see more awesome photos of this dumped Nissan 350Z.

Under the hood and inside the cabin things are pretty simple. Injen cai, Nismo clutch and a custom Stillen true dual exhaust keeps the car sounding right while small things such as JDM Proper 330mm shift knob, soundstream double din and vleds dome lights. He told us that he would like to eventually work on getting some sort of aftermarket steering wheel but "parting out" and sale of the car will probably happen before that unfortunately. We're sure however that whatever he gets his hands on in the future, it will look absolutely incredible in no time.

We'll end this feature with shout outs to Royal Origin, Lowballers, Oniwagens, our incredible friend & photographer Jeff Payuan for the awesome photos and last but not least, Angelo himself. You've built an awesome ride and you roll with the dopest crew! Think you have a ride worthy of Stance:Nation? Make sure you email us a couple photos to snfeatures@gmail.com when you get a chance!

Smitty x M45!

What do you say about doing things a little differently this time around? We'll let the owner (Shelton aka Smitty) do most of the talking as no one really knows more about the car than the man himself.

I remember falling in love the very first time I saw a VIP car back in 2002 in Japan. At that time I didnt know what VIP was but just the look of the ride and how clean it looked appealed to me. The first VIP ride I saw in person on the east coast was a Black Infiniti Q45 owned by Benji Cosca, and ever since that day I wanted to build one myself. While in the past I've owned cars such as Civic, Accord, and even a Jetta, it comes a time where you step it up and say "that was high school/college". Not to insult anyone, but I feel like I'm doing grown-ass-man things now. My last ride was a "VIP Inspired" Lexus ES300, but it not being the traditional VIP Platform (Japanese Sedan RWD) I definitely wanted to do something proper, meaning proper wheel fitment and a mean stance. I've gone through 4 sets of wheels in the last 2 1/2 years that I've owned the car, each time going more and more aggressive until I have achieved the results that I want. This is where it's at nowadays and there is still room for improvement.

There's definitely a big community of VIP rides on the westcoast, but I'm so glad that the VIP movement on the east coast is growing. With guys like the Liberty VIP Car Club and various other groups of people who have definitely played a huge part in growing the VIP movement here on the East Coast, our cars are finally starting to get noticed by VIP enthusiast across the world.

The funniest thing that people ask me about my ride, well besides why I have curtains, is if I drive this thing daily. I say damn right, no use of having a dope ride and never getting to enjoy it. I looked down the other day and I said: "Damn, I've already put 60K miles on it since I bought it 2 1/2 years ago"! I've taken my ride to NYC a few times, Myrtle beach twice, Charlotte a few times, and even all the way to Atlanta for Import Alliance earlier this year. I figure I'll drive it and enjoy the ride, and if the engine ever gives out it'll just give me a great excuse to do some crazy engine swap. You know what to do guys, click Read More bellow for my spec list and a bit more about me & my car.

VIP isnt just about the cars, its a lifestyle. Its all about kicking it with people who have the same interests and living life to the fullest. At least that's how I look at it. Future plans will be some custom front bumper work, more audio, and potentially adding more power to the V8. First I gotta give thanks to my ELITE family. Definitely some big things coming from this crew. Yuya and the guys at VIP Modular wheels, and all the East Coast Crews doin it big: ISO, Liberty VIP, Xclusive, UnClassified. Last but not least, big thanks to Javier Santiago for the incredible pictures and Elvis for making this feature happen.

There you have it guys, Smitty and his amazing M45! Incredibly humble individual who just happens to know how to build an incredible ride. This is not the last time you'll see this car, mark our words. We hope you enjoy all the high resolution images that we put up for you! As always, don't forge to shoot us photos of your fitted rides to snfeatures@gmail.com! Stay in touch with us on our facebook guys!
