Now that majority of you are back from Wekfest 2011 and your standards are set at the highest possible level, we knew that we had to have something absolutely awesome for you to even get your attention. For that, we took a trip to Hawaii, Oahu Hawaii to be exact. There, we found one of the most most beautiful '01 BMW E46 M3's in Oxford Green Metallic II over cinnamon, belonging to a guy by the name Kimo Jarrett. His E46 was originally a Florida car, but due to some mechanical errors it was bought back by the dealer and resold at an auction in New York. It has been his daily driver up until he had twins in late 2009, and even though he still drives it on the weekends, it's real purpose is on the track and at the local meets & shows. To some of you, this may just be another E46 with an "aggressive" stance, but to Kimo it's more of a dream come true. He has worked hard on it for years, and it's still not complete. It's his pride, joy and an absolute pleasure to own. It's mod list is extremely long so instead of pointing everything out one by one, we'll throw the list at the bottom of this feature. We're assuming you want to know the basic mod list such as wheel, tire, and suspension specs right away right?



Well, Kimo rocks two setups, one for show and one for go. What you see in these pictures are his "show wheels" which are Work Brombacher's (silver face with polished step lip) in 19x10 up front with a 10mm Rogue Enginnering spacer for an et of -2 wrapped in Falken 225/35/19, and 19x11.5 in the rear with an offset of +15, all wrapped up in 275/30/19 Falken tire. On the other hand, when it's time to "go", Kimo sits on Apex ARC-8's (hyper black finish) in 18x10, offset of +25 wrapped in 285/30/18 Yokohama AD-08 tires. Suspension list is a couple of pages long literally, but for the coilovers he is got AST 4100 monotube coilover system with an adjustable rebound. 600lb linear spring front and 750lb linear spring rear! The exterior as you can see has been modified as well. Vorsteiner saved the day with their CSL bumper w/dual intake hole cutouts and a 1 piece lip, CSL trunk and GTR hood as well as the sexy GTS3 rear diffuser that was molded into the rear bumper for a cleaner look. Lightwerkz also came to the rescue when it was time for the lighting, so a custom quad projector headlights were mounted on, that feature modified S2000 projectors (outer) and modified TFX projectors (inner). Headlight inner trim and shrouds were also painted gloss black and Umnitza amber colored LED angel eyes with the OEM amber corners, sides, and led tail lights finished the lighting department. Yes, he takes his lighting seriously!



One of the things Kimo wants to focus on up next is under his hood and inside the cabin (seats to be exact). It's relatively stock at the moment with only a PWR aluminum radiator (25% more capacity) and a Borla muffler w/Supersprint unresonated section 2. Interior is just stunning as is in our opinion but we'll have to wait and see what exactly Kimo may have up his sleeve. Check this interior out!
